*DANS POV*

I thought Phil would have sent some sort of letters over the break. Sure, I was still mad at him but he seemed to have just forgotten about me. The plans we had made to meet up were seemingly cancelled. If we weren't talking, I figured we wouldn't be spending time together any time soon.

Two weeks later, I still hadn't received a single letter from Phil. There were only a couple days until we would be back into the train and making our way to Hogwarts.

I was actually kind of worried about going back. I would much rather just stay in the muggle world with my parents for a while. But the professors would notice if I didn't show up for the rest of the year, sadly. I wish they would just be ignorant and not notice instead.

My parents had to head to a meeting straight after dropping me off, so I said my goodbyes in the car.

"I'll send gifts or something whenever I can! I won't forget I write this time!" I said as I was getting out of the car.

They both nodded and my mom even started crying a little. I hugged her tightly, and then rushed off the catch the train before it left. Once I got onto platform 9¾, I felt right at home agin. To know I was around people like me calmed me down instantly. I didn't feel out of the ordinary like I did before I know I was a wizard.

There was only one thing I was worried about, and it was seeing Phil. I was scared to see his reaction when he saw what I looked like now. It seemed like I turned knot a completely different person, and I felt like one too. Phil would surely notice.

I climbed onto the train and made my way to the last compartment. I felt more comfortable in a place I knew. Sadly, the one face I had been dreading seeing was there, waiting for me.

"Hey." He said as I walked in and sat down on the seat next to him.
