Something Unexpected (A Dramione Story)

Chapter 4

Hermione was heading towards the Great Hall to have dinner. She was walking alone through the hallways because Ron couldn't wait because he was so hungry, and she had told Ginny and Harry that they could go with Ron. She was already a little late for dinner so she ran through the castle. When she passed the last corner she bumped into someone and they fell both on the ground. When she looked who it was she saw it was Draco.

'Oh my! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?' Hermione asked while she crawled over to him.

'Oh I'm fine, are you okay?' Draco asked concerned.

'Oh don't worry about me.' Hermione said smiling.

Draco stood up and reached his hand out for her. Hermione packed it and he pulled her up.

'Thank you.' Hermione said smiling.

'No problem.' Draco said.

'And there you have Karma.' Hermione said laughing.

'What?' Draco asked.

'Karma, you know if you do something bad, you'll get it back, just like if you do something good.' Hermione explained.

'We ran into Luna and now we are both lying on the ground because we bumped into each other.' Hermione said laughing.

Draco laughed.

They were still holding each others hands without even knowing it. Though they both had this nice feeling, like nothing could go wrong.

'Shall we go to the Great Hall?' Hermione asked.

Draco nodded smiling and let both of her hands lose, though he didn't want to.

Hermione had done the same but on the other hand she just wanted him to hold them.

'What did Weasley say after I left?' Draco asked softly.

'Sorry for that he was being rude.' Hermione said.

'But he was not happy with you walking me up there.' Hermione said and she looked at Draco.

'I understand it.' Draco said.

They walked into the Great Hall.

'Well I'll see you around then.' Hermione said smiling.

'See you.' Draco said smiling and he walked to the left side of the Great Hall towards the Slytherin table. Hermione looked at him and then walked to the Gryffindor table.

'Why were you talking to Malfoy?' Ron asked suspicious.

'What?' Hermione asked.

'Oh well, we ran into each other and he was also on his way to the Great Hall so we walked together.

Harry and Ginny looked at her.

'What?' Hermione asked.

'Why didn't you just walk alone, I mean it's Malfoy.' Ron said.

Hermione turned back to Ron who was sitting next to her.

'Why would I?' Hermione asked.

'Because it's Malfoy.' Ron said.

'Shut up Ronald.' Ginny said.

Ron looked at Ginny and then continued with his food.

Hermione looked over at the Slytherin table.

'Hermione shall we go for a walk after dinner?' Harry asked.

'Yeah sure.' Hermione said.

After dinner she stood up. Hermione and Harry walked out of the Great Hall.
