Something Unexpected (A Dramione Story)

Chapter 21

'Hermione?' Ron said.

'Yeah?' Hermione said turning around.

'What happened?' Ron asked looking at her.

'Oh just a misunderstanding.' Hermione said.

'You look a little... I don't know.' Ron said.

'Thanks.' Hermione said.

Ron rolled his eyes laughing.

'You know you can talk to me about everything right?' Ron said.

Hermione nodded and smiled.

'Thanks Ron.' She said.

Ron nodded.

'I'm going to bed now, good night.' She said.

'Good night.' Ron said.

Hermione walked up the stairs and opened the door of her room. She changed and lay down in bed. After a few minutes she fell asleep.

Ron looked behind him when he heard people coming into the Gryffindor room.

'Hee.' Ron said when he saw it were Ginny and Harry.

'Do you guys know what happened to Hermione? She looked a little bit... shocked.' Ron said.

Harry and Ginny told Ron what had happened with Pansy and Draco this evening and Ron looked at them with widened eyes.

'Really?' Ron asked when they were done talking.

'Yeah.' Ginny said.

After a while talking with each other they all went to bed.

The next morning they sat at the Gryffindor table. They were eating breakfast when out of the sudden owls dropped the mail. Harry got the daily prophet dropped on this plate. He looked at the front page and widened his eyes.

'What?' Ginny asked.

Harry gave the paper to his girlfriend who was sitting next to him. Ginny looked at the paper and widened her eyes as well.

'What's wrong?' Hermione asked.

Ginny gave the paper to Hermione and she looked st it. On the front page there was a picture of Lucius Malfoy.

'Lucius Malfoy escaped from Azkaban.' Stood above the picture.

Hermione widened her eyes and read the article.

'He escaped.' Hermione said.

Harry and Ginny nodded.

'Does Draco know?' Hermione asked.

'I don't know.' Harry said.

'I have to go to him.' Hermione said.

Hermione stood up and took the paper with her. She ran towards the Slytherin common room. But then she bumped into someone.

'Sorry.' She said and then she saw it was Draco.

'Have you read the paper?' Hermione asked.

'No...' Draco said.

Hermione gave him the paper and Draco dropped his jaw.

'We have to go to McGonagall.' Draco said.

Hermione and Draco ran towards McGonagall's office. Before they reached her office she walked of the stairs.

'Professor McGonagall!' Hermione said.

'My father has escaped from Azkaban!' Draco said.

'What?' McGonagall asked.

'Lucius Malfoy has escaped from Azkaban professor.' Hermione said.

'We have to secure the castle!' McGonagall said.

Hermione and Draco nodded.

'Everybody has to stay inside! No one can go out.' McGonagall said.

They nodded again and then rushed back to the Great Hall.

'Everybody please listen.' Hermione said.

No one shut their mouths.

'Wait.' Draco said.

'QUIET EVERYONE!' Draco yelled.

Everybody immediately stopped talking and looked at Draco and Hermione.

'A Death Eater has escaped from Azkaban so everybody has to stay here and don't go out of the castle!' Hermione said.

All the students gasped and started to talk.

'Headmistress McGonagall will secure the castle with the other teachers, there is nothing to worry about.' Hermione said.

'Nothing to worry about a Death Eater has escaped of course we have to worry!' A student said.

'That Death Eater has probably killed someone before so he or she wouldn't mind to do it again.' Another students said.

All the students started to panic.

'Please stay calm!' Hermione said.

'If you want to look at it like that then I really would stay in here!' Draco said.

Every student nodded agreeing.

'Thank you.' Draco said and he packed Hermione's wrist gently.

He walked with her to the Gryffindor table and he saw that most of the students that weren't talking to each other about what they had just heard looked at them.

'Here sit down Mione.' Draco said gently.

Ginny scoot over a bit so that Hermione and Draco could sit down. Hermione saw that Ron was sitting next to Harry on the other side of the table. Draco gave Hermione a gentle smile when she looked at him. Hermione sat down and Draco sat down next to her.

'Who escaped?' Ron whispered leaning forwards so no one else but Hermione, Draco, Ginny and Harry could hear him.

'My father.' Draco whispered.

Ron widened his eyes in shock.

'Really?' Ron asked.

'Unfortunately, yes.' Draco said looking down.

'Draco don't worry, okay?' Hermione said.

'I'm just scared he's coming for me and forces me...' Draco said.

'Draco you are nothing like your dad. He can't do anything to you.' Hermione said.

'Plus we are here.' Ginny said.

'Yes and we always help each other, there are friends for.' Harry said smiling.

Draco looked at them and smiled.

'Thank you.' Draco said.

'So if you ever need someone just come to us.' Ron added.

Draco pulled his eyebrows up. He had never expected that out of Ron's mouth. Draco looked back down at his hands.

'You really don't have to worry he would do anything to you see?' Hermione said with a little smile

'But I'm not scared he's going to do anything to me....' Draco said looking up at Hermione.

'I'm scared he's going to do something to.... You.' Draco said.
