Chapter 24

Hermione’s POV:

Lucius landed somewhere. I didn’t know where, I had my eyes closed the whole time. Though I had kicked around me. I opened my eyes and looked up at Lucius.
‘Don’t move!’ Lucius snapped giving me a deathly glare.
I nodded lightly and Lucius walked through a door. I was dark in the room and I couldn’t see much. I didn’t know where I was, but one thing I knew, I had to leave. I looked around in the dark. I saw a few doors in the room where I was. I walked silently to a door and tried to open it but it was locked. I turned around and walked towards the other one, but this one was closed too. I turned around and wanted to walk to another one but then I heard footsteps coming closer. I fast walked back to the place where I stood first. I looked at the door where Lucius had closed after he left and it opened again. Lucius walked back in.
‘Where are we?’ I asked softly.
‘Quiet!’ Lucius yelled.
He walked towards me. I felt my heartbeat raise.
‘I’m going to ask you a few simple questions, and you’re going to tell me the truth.’ Lucius said coldly.
‘Understand?’ Lucius asked.
I nodded.
‘What did you do to my son?’ Lucius asked.
‘Nothing.’ I said.
‘I said that I wanted to hear the truth. So what did you do to my son?’ Lucius said.
‘I did nothing.’ I said.
‘I give you one more change! What did you do to my son?’ He asked once again.
‘I’m telling you the truth sir! I did nothing to Draco!’ I said.
‘I see you want it the hard way.’ Lucius said.
He packed his wand and aimed it at me. Before I could pack my own wand he used his.
‘Crucio!’ Lucius said.
I saw a light coming from his wand towards me and then I felt the worst pain. I fell on the ground and tried not to scream. It was awful! Horrible! Out of the sudden the pain stopped.
‘Can you now tell me the truth?’ Lucius asked.
‘I. am. Telling. You. The. Truth!’ I said.
‘No you’re not, my son would never do something like this.’ Lucius said.
‘I raised him well, he’ll never like a mudblood.’ Lucius said.
‘But it just happens, it could happen to anyone and it has happened to Draco, sir.’ I said.
‘What? What happens?’ Lucius asked.
‘Falling in love.’ I said.
‘He would never fall in love with someone like you.’ Lucius said angrily.
‘But you can’t stop it! It happens to you, if you like it or not.’ I said.
Lucius gave me a deathly glare.
‘Not my son, he doesn’t love you because you did something to him.’ Lucius said.
‘No I didn’t.’ I said.
‘Crucio!’ Lucius said and again I felt the worst pain.

Draco’s POV:

‘Blaise wake up.’ I whispered shaking Blaise’s arm.
He opened his eyes.
‘Is it time?’ He asked sleepy.
I nodded.
‘Okay.’ He said and he got out of bed.
We walked slowly downstairs. We walked out of the common room up the stairs to the Entrance Hall. After a few seconds I heard footsteps and there came Harry, Ginny and Ron.
‘What is he doing here?’ Ron asked looking at Blaise.
‘He’s coming with us.’ I said.
‘Why?’ Ron asked in disgust.
‘Ron!’ Ginny said.
‘Thank you Zabini.’ Harry said.
‘No probs.’ Blaise said nodding.
Then I heard another pair of footsteps coming towards us.
‘Where are you going?’ I heard Pansy’s voice coming closer.
‘Nowhere.’ I said.
‘Doesn’t look like nowhere.’ Pansy said.
‘Go back to bed or something Parkinson.’ I said.
‘I heard that your dad was in the castle.’ Pansy said with a smirk.
No one answered.
‘And he took that filthy mudblood, good…..’ Pansy started.
‘SHUT IT PARKINSON!’ I yelled at her.
‘Ssssh Draco! We don’t want to wake others up.’ Ginny said.
‘No Drakie, we don’t want to wake others up.’ Pansy said.
I gave Pansy a deadly glare and then something went through my mind.
‘Wait a second, where were you with dinner Parkinson?’ I asked.
‘In the Great Hall.’ Pansy said.
‘No you weren’t, haven’t seen you.’ I said.
‘I was there.’ Pansy said.
‘No I didn’t see you either, just like with lunch.’ Blaise said.
‘I was in the library.’ Pansy said.
‘You’re never in the library.’ I said.
‘I needed a book.’ Pansy said.
‘Sure.’ I said.
‘What did McGonagall said again?’ I asked.
‘Malfoy we need to go.’ Ron said.
‘Wait!’ I said.
I walked towards Pansy.
‘Oh yeah that’s right, someone LET my father IN the castle, and I have a feeling I know who that was.’ I said.
I pushed Pansy against the wall and pointed my wand at her face.
‘You let him in so he could take Hermione with him!’ I said.
‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ Pansy said.
‘You know exactly what I mean.’ I said.
‘Where did he take her?’ I asked.
‘I don’t know.’ Pansy said.
‘You know that damn well!’ I said getting more angry with every word.
‘No I…’ Pansy said.
‘Where is she?’ I shouted.
‘Or do you want me to use the Cruciatus curse on you?’ I asked.
‘You won’t.’ She said but I saw she wasn’t sure of that one.
‘Oh yes I will.’ I said.
‘Draco you can’t, it’s an unforgivable curse!’ Ginny said.
‘I don’t care! I’ll do everything to get Hermione back!’ I said.
I looked back at Pansy. I saw that her eyes got watery.
‘Are you going to tell it? Or do you prefer pain?’ I asked.
‘Pansy I’ll tell it if I were you, he’s really going to use it!’ Blaise said.
‘He- he took her to Malfoy Manor.’ Pansy mumbled.
‘Thank you for your cooperation.’ I said sighing and I let her lose.
I walked towards the others and then I saw Harry taking his wand and aiming it at her.
‘Petrificus Totalus!’ He said.
I turned around and Pansy fell on the ground with her wand in her hand.
‘We really need to go now.’ I said.
The others nodded and we ran out of the castle towards the Forbidden forest.
‘Why are we going to the Forbidden forest?’ Blaise asked.
‘We’re going by Thestrals.’ Ginny said.
‘What?’ Blaise asked.
Ginny explained what kind of creatures they were and then we arrived at the Forbidden forest.
‘They look creepy.’ Blaise said when they reached the Thestrals.
‘Take one and sit down on them.’ Harry said.
We all nodded and sat down on one of the creatures. They flew up and we were on our way to safe Hermione.
