Shotaro took the backdoor, hoping that none of his classmates—especially Donghyuck and Renjun, wouldn't notice him. He peeked through the small glass window on their door, seeing everyone busy with their phone before twisting the door open and opening it a little, slipping through right after. He looked like he came from doing something illegal, which in a sense he did. He crouched behind of his classmate's table, eyeing his seat. Thankfully jaemin was no where in sight. So with quick and light steps, he made his way to his seat—dropping immediately.
"where have you been? " Renjun's authoritive voice made him flinch, turning half of his body to the right to see Renjun with his English book on his hips. He let his eyes travel to the friend's foot that was rapidly tapping the marbled floor.
"with yuta" he watched as Renjun narrowed his eyes at him, something he did when he suspected things or because he knew jaemin did something. "why? "
"you weren't with us during lunch. Not only that but you weren't with us for half the day. " Renjun was now squinting, "are you hiding something taro? "

"I don't know... " Renjun tapped his index finger on his chin. "maybe it's because of the fact you've been hanging out with section 2's class president. Tell me Shotaro are you dating him? "

Should he be betrayed that Renjun is believing those rumors? Yes but at the same time no. He gets Renjun would believe those as he wasn't opening his situation to them. But the fact that people are saying that he and Jeno are together doesn't sit right with him.
Renjun sighed, shaking his head. Shotaro was right. Shotaro isn't the type to hide things like dating the president of the class next to theirs. "you're right. Sorry about that but it feels like you're hiding something from us"
