𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐰𝐨

2 days after the confession

If sungchan remembered it right, he never fell in love, even once. Not with donghyuck (it was a simple crush) nor with chenle who he grew up with. He never got the concept actually.

It was like he didn't get it. Many people, namely chenle, told him how their significant other would come to them unexpectedly. Unexpectedly like a taxi stopping right in front of you, anticipating you'd hop in. And based on the many romance movie he was forced to watch with chenle, the main characters never knew each other but just clicked and after an hour and a half, it's happy ever after.

Main characters. that made him scoff. That was basically him and shotaro in his ever so brilliant of a movie that was his life. Movie or k drama it was somewhere there.

Then, to complete the list, the second male lead was jeno (or is it him? ) and the second (Fe) male lead was jaemin. Then, like any other drama, people would be supporting for the second lead couple, jeno and shotaro.

He should consider getting more scenes with jaemin, maybe that would distract him. Actually, that is a terrible idea. If jaemin knew he was some substitute, the bunny would end up crying and cursing at him, like how he did with jeno.

❝I agreed to come to your house because you  needed someone to chat to, not someone you can stare at❞ came yangyang's obnoxious voice. The sheep and sungchan were in the dining room, sitting at the table at opposite ends of each other.

Yangyang had many plans for today, which included hanging out with xiaojun who wouldn't stop crying for some reason(the dinosaur refused to tell him because it was too personal and told him his brain wouldn't be able to comprehend it—in short, he thought yangyang was too dumb to understand). Other than hanging out with xiaojun, he had to check on jeno who also asked his help (despite the dog being the person renjun liked. It was bros before crushes?) . But, since sungchan rarely asked him for help, he put the younger first.

❝yang, what would you do when you want the person you like to like someone else? ❞

Yangyang wanted to ask sungchan what's with the sudden question. It was like the younger giant knew that renjun rejected him because he liked jeno.

It hurt but he knew renjun would be happier if he was jeno. Love came with sacrifices as they say. ❝I just let them, I guess. I mean, they should be with the person who makes them happy, and if that happens that it can't be you, then you should accept it. You can't force yourself  being their happiness❞

Then shotaro was better with someone else... he guessed. The though of the otter with someone else pained sungchan but he knew that shotaro didn't deserve some ghosting prick. In fact and as much as he hates to admit it, shotaro should choose jeno.

See where he's going? He was so confident that shotaro would choose him but when the time came that he would choose shotaro, he hesitated.

Where's the trust? Where's the love, actually. And, what is love?

Yangyang doesn't know if he's talking to a rock or a person. Sungchan was  quiet, blinking his eyes only. He was breathing (thankfully) but he looked pale. Sickly actually.

He leaned to the table. ❝chan, are you... Alright? ❞

Was he? Of course not. He hadn't got any proper sleep. He's been questioning himself every hour of every day. He refused to have a proper meal until his problem was solved. The good thing despite those was he still cared for hygiene.
