7 teens are going out to high school and there, they find out what love is! They go through an ocean of emotions, a dense forest of expressions and in their journey, they come across tons of people changing their colours like the sky changes it's co...
"Get up from your vague dreams you fools. You filthy orphans have been extremely annoying! Get up you parentless creatures!", echoed an exasperating voice. It was Ms. Mary May's voice who was a caretaker at St.Peter George High school and orphanage? Ms. Mary May wasn't one of the cool teachers who used to gel up with the students, no she was completely old school and was extremely vexatious and spiteful towards the students, God only knows why. Except for abusing the orphans and calling them parentless, she played a major role in beating the crap out of the children. And, she was too prompt with all her work, which was very annoying! "I said pick up your lazy bum right now!" Ms. May howled at Cheryl. Cheryl Mathews was a coy[introvert] girl. She was modest since the beginning and the poor child had witnessed her parents' death just in front of her. Cheryl was an only child and her parents were anticipating another baby which was in her mother's womb. Her dad, Eric Mathews was a hardworking man who worked in an NGO. He didn't earn much, but he was fully capable of giving Cheryl all that she desired. Martha Mathew, her mother was an extremely talented chess player but due to lack of exposure, she could only play till the state level. Cheryl was only 9 when she lost her parents in a car accident where a truck literally wrecked her parent's car, taking them both away from her...forever. Cheryl, like her mother, had an interest in chess and was a brilliant chess player too! Unfortunately, she had no close relatives who could've taken care of her after her parents' demise and hence, she was brought to the orphanage when a good soul saw a 9-year-old Cheryl sitting on the street, weeping and looking at the abandoned ruined car. She was truly one of her kind. Cheryl was mostly always to herself. It was her birthday, the 7th of June, and she was turning 18 today, becoming an adult. 9 years had passed in that atrocious place, hearing Ms. May screeching and hurling nasty comments at her. Cheryl was a girl who belonged to the roses and lilies, with ocean blue eyes, silk touch brown hair, fair skin, and a smile that would melt anyone's heart and make them fall in love with her. But due to the orphanage rules, girls and boys were not allowed to communicate with each other and so she had zero experience when it came to conversing with boys. The orphanage also had another rule where once you turn 18, you are responsible for your own survival. The orphanage would provide enough money for getting admission into a decent college and also invest some money for future use. Today, Cheryl was going to go out and see the world on her own for the first time! She was going to be free. She would see cars and buses for the first time since the devastating experience of 2009. Turning 18 in 2018, how interesting! She greeted all the teachers jovially with a good morning and went to Ms. May for her allowance and permission to go out and see the world. Although Cheryl was shy, she somehow managed to muster up the courage and go to Ms.May. Ms. May like many other hubristic orphan caretakers slammed the bundle of 2000$ on the table and asked Cheryl to leave and never return. Cheryl just left the orphanage looking disconsolate. She didn't have any friends to say goodbye to or to go and ask for help. She was left all alone, all alone in the world where she dreamt of going to a high school and where she knew absolutely no one! Cheryl booked her life's first ride...to find a college, luckily she was intelligent enough to win a scholarship to the Washington High school. She was a big lover of psychology and hence she chose the psychology course from the curriculum. Now she just had to wait for the summers to end and high school to begin! She directly take admission in the second year of high school since she had studied her first year in her orphanage, and was 18 already, which meant the students of her age would be in the the second year of high school as well. She was a momentous girl and had planned all her expenses out. She rented a small house for herself and once high school began she decided she would do various small part-time jobs to cover up for her expenses. Today was just the third day since she left the orphanage and she was already missing it. Even though Ms. May was a complete jerk, Cheryl missed her worry-less life and missed the freedom of reading books and playing chess. Because here, all she did was financial planning. Days passed and it was now 27th June. Only 4 days to go for her High school to begin. Little did Cheryl know that for her, there awaited Love, Agony, Depression, and maybe some Contentment.
