Krist

It's 3 days before Krist can even open Singto's diary. He doesn't know if he's strong enough, so he distracts himself with work then requests that they clear his schedule for a day and it's then that he finally works up the courage.

It's a painful read, Singto's every thought spread across the page. There's anger of course, the same anger that he feels, but there's love as well. So many confessions of love.

He reads the whole thing through twice before he calls P'Jane.

The conversation is enlightening, he tells him so many things that Krist wants to hear. The floodgates opening only because Krist has called and asked. P'Jane keeps repeating that Singto had said he could share things only if Krist wanted to know.

And he does.

Krist is hungry to hear everything about their time apart.

While some of it is painful, most of it is enlightening - little incites into Singto from an outsiders point of view. Things that he'd never thought about before.

When P'Jane tells him he still has the ticket, Krist doesn't hesitate

"Yes, I want it. Please."

He lands in New York on a cold afternoon. The skyline has towering buildings a bit like Bangkok, but everything else is foreign to him. Luckily, P'Yui had arranged a car from the airport so he barely has to speak a word of English which he is grateful for.

He know that somewhere in this city is Times Square where his fan club once displayed his picture for his birthday, and in his head he reminds himself to visit at least once so he can stand there.

But most of his attention is on P'Singto - of course.

In this city, is the love of his life, waiting for him.

And Krist is desperate to get to him.

Arriving at a dorm building that he could have stayed in at home, he finally has to ask for help. He's hesitant, but the auntie at the desk is patient and kind. She directs him gently to the right elevator and even pushes the button for the right floor.

He knows the dorm number, it's etched on his heart from the mail he has sent. But when he finally reaches the right one, it's a long pause before he even considers knocking.

There's some laughter and muffled sounds of talking behind the door and he flicks between knocking or leaving several times.

Until he hears an unmistakable voice, and then his fist is pounding twice and then.. he waits.

When the door opens, it's to a smile he has missed dreadfully.

Silently, they stare.
