JJ pov 

I grabbed Kiara as quickly as I could, I didn't understand what had happened I just saw a smudge of blood by where her leg was. I ran to shore almost tripping over, again, but managing to balance myself. I lay her down on the shore holding her shoulders, shaking her 

"Kie please wake up, Kie please!"

My eyes examined her body and I saw a jellyfish sting.

"Shit" I said, I checked her pulse, she was still breathing. 

"Stay here ok" I said as I got up realising what I'd just said "Dumbass" I said to myself. 

I started sprinting to where the rest of the Pogues were. Sarah noticed me running and panicking.

"JJ what's wrong? what's happened?" Sarah asked quite concerned.

"Kie, water,  jellyfish sting, unconscious." For some reason that's all that came out of my mouth but they understood immediately.

"Where JJ?" Pope asked.

I started running gesturing for them to follow me. When we got to Kie I just sat on my knees staring at her, I grabbed her hand.

"I'm so sorry, please stay with me" I sobbed 

"Ok well its obvious what we have to do right?" John B said.

We all nodded in agreement and I carried Kie into one of our den's and left Cleo, Sarah and Kie to do what they have to do.

(Btw to help a jellyfish sting u have to pee on it so that's what I'm talkin bout, ok back to the story)

I paced up and down outside the den waiting for some kind of news. 

'Its my fault' I thought 'I shouldn't of let her go ahead' My eyes started to fill up again with tears. Pope noticed but didn't say anything.

Sarah came out about 5 minutes later.

"She's awake but still dopey and her leg is still obviously in a lot of pain."

I ran inside with a huge smile on my face.

Kiara pov

The Pogues came in one by one and I didn't understand why they all looked so relived,

"I'm a Pogue" "You can't kill a Pogue" I said smirking.

JJ sat down next to me with a huge smile on his face.

"Especially not you" He said with the biggest smile on his face as he pulled me in to a bear hug. We pulled away JJ slightly sobbing still. I gave him a reassuring smile. 

"You scared the shit out of us" John B said, Pope nodding along.

"Glad to see I could spice the day up a little bit." I joked. 

"Screw those jellyfish tho" I added. We all let out a small chuckle.

Later that night, everyone had gone to bed earlier tonight I don't know why, although I think I know why John B and Sarah did, I heard some suspicious noises earlier. I couldn't sleep because my leg was still in a lot of pain, so I went outside just for a walk when I saw JJ sitting on a log by the ocean.

"J?" I said quietly not to wake to others.

"Hey u ok?" He replied 

"Yeah I'm fine why you up?"

"Couldn't sleep, you?"

I couldn't tell him my leg was hurting because I didn't want him to worry.

"Same" I replied as I sat down next to him.

"Today Kie I thought...I thought you'd never wake up" he said while stumbling on his words.

"I'm here now aren't I?"I said with a small grin on my face. We both let out a small chuckle and I could see him getting upset so I just grabbed him and embraced him, he started sobbing into the crook of my neck. 

"It was my fault, I should've gone ahead of you I should of-"

"JJ!" I interrupted "You could not have stopped me if u tried, and this was never your fault" I cupped his face in my hands so he was looking at me.

"Now enough with this emotional shit" I said remembering the night in the hot tub, "sorry sore subject right now, right? "I continued, he let a small chuckle and smiled. I loved his smile this unknown feeling aroused in the pit of my stomach.

"I'm gonna go bed" I said, releasing myself from our embrace, "Goodnight J"

"Night Kie"
