-JJ pov-

Me and Kie had been in the same hug for about 20 mins but I wasn't complaining, through all the shit I put her through she was there for me, even when the others weren't or didn't want to be,
I love her... I've never or never wanted to admit it to her. After all this time I'm finally admitting it, I felt a weight get lifted off shoulders and I hugged her tighter. This woman wrapped in my arms, comforting me, making sure I'm ok, being here in my worst of times, she's my everything, the only real reason I have to live. She's my soulmate.
I love her.
I pulled away ready to tell her, I looked in her eyes and saw Cleo out the corner of my eye.
"You ok?" She said cupping my face, I just nodded as she continued,
"Cmon we gotta get back to camp, operation get back to obx is a go" she said smiling at me. She grabbed my hand and started leading me back to the group. I was sad to not be comforted by her touch anymore but I smiled at the affection. When we got back to camp the rest of the group surrounded me and filled me in on the plan to sneak onto the Cameron's boat and then stay quiet until back at obx.
"Ok so after they've checked the island and seen that we are nowhere around, they'll automatically think that we've somehow gone back to outer banks, so they'll rush back as fast as possible." John B said making some weird hand gestures.
We all nodded and did some Pogue handshakes before walking to the boat.
"So why are we doing this instead of the original 'steal the boat' plan?" Kie asked, stopping for a water break.
"So we thought since Rafe kinda knows where we're staying we thought he will probably know if we're gonna do shit sooooo we just thought get back to obx in true Pogue style, u know sneaking in somewhere and maybe getting trapped." Sarah said. We all chuckled then carried on walking.

-Kie pov-

About 30 mins later, we arrived at the Cameron's boat, we all hid around a little tree area.
"Ok so what's the plan?" I said.
"Um so we throw something or make a distraction somehow and then run and find a cabinet or somin," Sarah said,
"Ok so how do we make a distraction?"
"Wait here" JJ said while walking a few metres down,
"What the hell is he doing?" I asked looking round at everyone. They all shrugged and turned back to JJ.
He threw some little twigs and shells at the small balcony thing.
"JJ, what the hell?" I whispered but loud enough so he'd hear, he motioned for me to be quiet and then shouted,
"Yo Cameron got ur door fixed yet?"
After that Rafe came out onto the balcony and then replied,
"Real funny Maybank, why don't u come on here and fix it for me."
"Ahh see I'd love to but I have somin u might want," JJ said pulling out Rafe's pistol that he used to threaten me and JJ with.
I looked around and everyone was just staring in shock, Rafe then continued, " I swear to god, I will come and beat ur shit,"
"Come try Cameron, but u see I have a gun and u don't!" JJ said waving the gun around.
"Alright just give me the gun back, Pogue."
"Come get it," JJ said while walking off, Rafe jumped down and started running after him, JJ started running then signalled for us to move on the boat, I hesitated but then I felt myself getting pushed by Sarah, "He'll be fine" she said as we got in the boat. We stood in the doorway watching JJ, he dropped the gun and ran out of sight. Rafe stopped to pick up the gun then ran after JJ again. I started to panic once it had been a few minutes and JJ hadn't come back yet,
"Look we should go look for him," I said
"No!" "It's JJ, he has survival skills of a cockroach right?" Pope said grabbing my arm to stop me from walking out,
"Cmon JJ" I said sighing then leaning my head back on the wall.
