-JJ pov- 

We arrived back at OBX and immediately heard sirens. We saw blue flashing lights coming towards us. 

"Guys in the shack now!" JB said pushing Sarah into the shack which is basically a shed behind the Chateau. We all ducked behind our surfboards and a few tables. Kie started shaking so I put my hand over hers and gave a faint smile, she tried her hardest to smile back but I saw straight though her. We saw sheriff cars pull up and a few officers get out.  

"Well Thomas you were right, that right there is Ward Cameron's boat," Shoupe said looking at the boat that we had just escaped. JB looked at me, I saw the concern for Sarah as he turned towards her. 

"Ok split up and block every possible docking place on the Outer Banks got it?" Shoupe ordered and a few minutes later we heard engines start and cars being driven away. We all walked into the Chateau, me and Kie flopped onto the sofa bed and Pope lay down on the sofa outside. Cleo just stood there like she didn't know what to do, 

"Cleo u ok?" I said, she nodded and then sat on Pope's legs. 

"Owwwwwww" Pope whined, "Get off bro," 

"John B do you have any beers dude?" Cleo said, completely blanking Pope. 

"Fine" Pope said smirking, after that he moved his legs so that Cleo fell on the floor, backside first. Me and Kie chuckled, she then looked down , playing with her fingers. 

"Hey," I nudged her knee, "U ok?"      

"I should probably go check in with the fam," She said, 

"C'mon I'll walk you" I said pulling her of the bed. 

"Good luck Kie," JB and Sarah shouted, 

"Yeh have fun!" Pope shouted while play fighting with Cleo, we heard them still shouting as we walked away, 

"Gotcha" "Hey no fair man," 

We laughed and but as we started walking I remembered something, 

"Kie, what happened on the boat?" 

"I told you J, It was a dare." She answered running her fingers through her hair. I stopped and turned her to face me, 

"Kie, what happened?" 

"J I don't want to talk about it, you'll think I'm stupid." 

"Kie I've heard you fart, I've seen you eat food off the floor, pick your nose-"

"I was 5!!!" I laughed and then continued, 

"I'm still here Kie, after 12 years I'm still here, doesn't that tell you that nothing can make me think your stupid." Kie smiled after I finished, she took a deep breath and then started. 

"So it was just a dare, to lean out the door for 10 seconds, but after about 3 seconds I felt this wave of relaxation come over me and I was having these thoughts-" 

"What thoughts Kie?" She sighed and looked down, I lifted her head up with my finger so that she was looking at me, "Kie please," 

"I was thinking if it would hurt to drown and if the ocean would be a good place to die." I tried to pull her into a hug but she pulled away,

"I'm broken JJ," She turned around and started pacing,  "I- I keep having them thoughts about d- about not living anymore. JJ what if that's what's meant to happen to me? What if that's my destiny," Tears started streaming down her face, she fell to her knees and held her chest. "I've hurt so many people, I think that's what's best for me at this point. I- I can't- breathe J," She said gripping her t shirt, tight.
 I kneeled down next to her and hugged her she hesitated but soon her arms found their way around my torso, 

"J I-" She tried talking but she couldn't, 

"Kie just calm down, listen to my heart ok?" I said rubbing her back and stroking her hair, I had no idea if that would work but I read that it helps calm people's breathing if they listen to something steady. But my god was it hard to keep my heart from going a million miles an hour. 

After a few minutes she calmed down and I don't think I've ever been so happy to see her breathe normally, I guess I've never really thought it was a big deal. 

She slowly sat up so that she was facing me again, she looked into my eyes and leant in, our lips touched and there it was again, the sensation and perfection. She pulled away and I looked at her with a confused look, 

"What was that for?" I said, "Not that I'm complaining," She giggled and then said, 

"It was for being the only person in my life who has been there for me at my lowest and my highest, for being the person who would always take my side even if I was wrong, for being the only person who I can talk to if I'm sad or angry or hungry or even all three at once," She paused I looked into her eyes before she continued, " For being the person I truly love."

 I looked at her in disbelief as the words left her mouth, I smiled and then pulled her in for another kiss, she wrapped her hand around my neck and my right hand found her waist while my other caressed her cheek. I pulled away and said "You know I've loved you this whole time right?" She laughed and then we started walking back to her house, hand in hand.

Hiiiiiiiiiiii told you I would update again today :) YAY so they finally admitted it buttttttttttt the story is far from over, lets leave it at that 😉😉😉
