-John B pov- (SURPRISE SHAWTYYY)

JJ and Kie left a few hours ago, Cleo and Pope went on a walk a few minutes after, now me and Sarah are just sitting on the sofa bed,
"You ok John B?"
"Yeh just... it seems that the Pogues are drifting you know? Like the things that brought us together was the thrilling treasure hunts or unraveling mysteries. But now we have none of that so-" As if on queue Cleo and Pope walked back in,  Pope looked upset but they seemed ok.
"U guys alright?" I asked,
"Yeh obviously he was a bit upset about what I did but I think we're ok now?" Pope nodded as Cleo spoke. Then the mailman came through the door,
"Wow it's crowded in here-" Harry (the mailman) stopped as he saw JB, "YOUR BACK!!!! UR NOT DEAD, U KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I GOT CALLED CRAZY FOR STILL DELIVERING YOUR MAIL!!!!" We all laughed as Harry put the mail and left soon after.
"A letter from Barbados?" Cleo asked picking up the letter, I looked and Sarah, she shrugged, Pope shook his head. I grabbed the letter and started to open it.

-JJ pov-

We walked into the chateau to see all of them surrounding John B, holding a letter, almost crying.
"What's good y'all?" I asked walking up to them, Kie following not far behind.
"I uh- I think my dads alive." JB said, I looked at Kie when she spoke,
"John B we've been through this movie before..."
"No Kie look..." Sarah said handing Kie the letter,"read it" she said.

Dear Mr John Booked Routledge,
I heard that the shroud was missing out of the historical cross, now I have a very reliable inside source that states that, you have that shroud around your neck maybe at this priciest moment. You have to hide it kid, many people are after that price of cloth and it could put you and all your little friends in danger. I know you can do it Bird, you've solved many mysteries before. I love you kid.

"Shit"

"There's no name addressed," Kie said reviewing the letter,
"So?" JB said standing up, face to face with Kie. I stood up and stepped a bit closer.
"So John B this could be anyone playing a prank, using it to get the shroud?"
"Maybe Kie but if there is a smidge of a chance that my father is alive I'm gonna try my very hardest to find him and bring him home, ok?
Kie nodded and looked back at the letter, "Barbados?" She smiled and we all nodded.
"We can't go there but I have some friends that could help us out," Cleo said, Kie froze and looked her dead in the eyes, she said nothing, then turned to me,
"Looks like we have another mystery on our hands folks,"

Hiiiiiii ok sorry it's been a while since I updated but idk whether to continue this book or make a new one from scratch or another fan base I would love to continue this book but I'm worried it might get boring for you guys so yeh lmk.
