it's been a rather boring couple of days, to be honest.

while preparations for the festival have been pretty fun, nothing has really happened that made me all too interested in anything. i'm 100% in support of the concert thing that kyoka's going to be a major part of, but there's really not much i can do. mina has been trying to teach me to dance, but all i do is fail, fail, and fail again. i'm pretty sure i'm worse than aoyama.

to be frank, you suck ass when it comes to anything artistic. it's a wonder you have a decent singing voice

i scowl but don't bother responding, instead lazily walking at bakugo's side while some of our other classmates walk ahead, talking about the festival and all the things we need to do for it.

"the dance choreography and costumes... there's a lot to decide!" mina exclaims while waving her arms around casually.

"what do you think people will like?"

"we should do what's popular. right, jiro?" kaminari questions with what i can tell is a grin, but the short dark haired girl only hums.

the conversation between the group continues on, but my walking buddy and i both come to a stop when the voices of other students reach us, along with their bitter conversation about us.

"hey, did you hear? hero course class 1-a is doing a concert. for us. general studies..."

i notice bakugo turn to see who was talking, and the two of us pause in our step to continue listening.

"for us? what's that supposed to mean? aren't they thinking too much of themselves?"

"seriously, they're too carefree. even though they were attacked by villains, they went to training camp nonchalantly and were attacked again... they even had people injured. thanks to that, even we had to go through a lot. even though it was all their fault... they've got some nerve..."

bakugo and i share an annoyed look as we pick up our pace again. we both were used to this shit, hearing it pretty much everyday we walked the halls of u.a., but the fact that people didn't realize how much all those attacks affected us just makes me pissed off. i'm sure bakugo feels the same, especially since he was part of the reason the villains attacked the training camp in the first place. but the other courses thinking we were nonchalant about it all... it made my blood fucking boil.

i was disrupted from my late evening nap by something that sounded suspiciously like drums, evidently leading me to exit my room and see what the fuck was going on. what i didn't expect was to see bakugo sitting at kyoka's drum set, playing like an actual pro while everyone else watched on in shock.

"well?!"

"p-perfect..."

"wow..."

"there he is—mr. talented!"

"bakugo's gotta be on the drums!"

i raise an eyebrow in confusion. were they talking about the festival again? why? also, why is everyone still in their uniforms?

you're one to talk, considering you collapsed on the damn bed in full uniform

'wait, really?'

dumb bitch

"bakugo, please! i mean, if you do it, it'll definitely turn out good!" kyoka tries to plead with the arrogant blond, only to be shut down quickly.
