The next day they let me out of the hospital. Damian practically forced me to stay at his place. Around 7:30 he had to leave. Then the phone rang.
"Hello?" I said when I picked it up.
"Hello Quinn. I would just like to tell you to stay away from Damian if you don't bad things will happen." Said a voice I have never heard before.
"Who is this?" I asked.
"Oh Quinn. I'm surprised you haven't figured it out. Don't you remember what Brook said?" He said.
"It's my Mom! Not Brook!" I yelled.
"Oh but no Quinn. Your mommy is here with me." He said.
"What?" Was all I could say.
"It seems that Brook lied to you. Yes your whole life is pretty much a lie you know that, but what you don't know still is the whole truth." He said.
I didn't know whether to demand the truth or tell him to let me speak to my mom. My biological mom. Then I decided demanding the truth about my life he won't tell me.
"Let me speak to her." I said.
"Why speak to her on the phone when you can see her." He said. "At midnight tonight go to the park on 8th street. You'll see her there. Come alone. You'll only get 5 minutes." He said.
"Will you be there?" I asked.
"Oh don't worry I will, but you won't see me." He said, then hung up.
