Mason POV

Kelci and I took Mal to my moms. I know with everything in me she could never do a thing to me. I insisted that Kelci stay with her but didn't want to. She refused to stay. My mom was in total shock but knew we had to go and see about our son. We said our Goodbyes and hoped and prayed for the best.

"Mas"

"Yes?"

She grabbed my hand.

"I'm scared Mas, I really am. I can't take anything happening to my baby Mas."

I shook my head and sighed

"I know, I hate myself for not even seeing the signs. But I got people behind us. People who've been there before me and you . So I know there's no bad intentions. I honestly can't even believe this shit is happening but...." I sighed "we gotta think positive. Like what we're gonna do after all of this is over. That's what I do in every bad situation "

We drove and met up with some of my people. It was about 10 of us. All strapped with Colt sporters and heavy duty ammunition.

I didn't want to have to do any of this to a man that I once looked up too. The fact that my son go brought into this makes my skin crawl and my blood boil.

"How do we know where we're going?" One of my guys asked.

"The asshole back at the ware house told me where he was head while pleading with me" I said ask loaded my gun.

We drove another 30minutes before we reached the abandoned building.

"Stay here " I said to Kelci

"Um no what the fuck Mas"

"Kelci I don't need you to be in here in case guns start going off. I need you to stay in the car"

"No because If guns go off, I'm getting my child and Chris out of there. and I don't care what you say. I'm getting my son"

she said and grabbed a gun and got out the car to fast for me to grab her.

She began walking behind my guys and I snatched her back.

"You're not going anywhere! I'm not asking you to stay. I'm telling your ass to fall back! I can't risk losing both of yall . Now get your ass back and if I need you i will call you. I understand you wanna be by my side at all times and I want you to be but I know what's best and what's safe. Stop questioning it! Damn Kelci!"

she looked up at me like she had an attitude and wanted to cry all in one but said nothing. She started to walk back when i grabbed her again.

"You know I love yall more than anything. " i kissed her and walked away.

As i was walikng I heard a car door open and close letting me know she did as told. When the team and i got to the back door we heard talking. Soft talking, but tention was definetly there with them. i figured it was Carter and one of his dudes. I krept in first with everyone else following me back me up. It was dark and you could barely see the person next to you getting within inches close to them. I saw a light not to far ahead. i was praying that nobody made any noises, despite the few rats running under our feet. I reached the door where the light was coming from and peaked in slowy. I noticed that we were on the top level and I could see Carter and his guys huddled over a table of guns and metal medical instruments. there were more of them then us. "Fuck !' i said under my breath.

i turned to them "It's about 15-16 of them down there. Keep your aim high and eyes open" i said "Alright .....go"
