"Mas it's in the closet I hung it up for you last night."

He never checks his stuff before asking.

Mason is getting ready for work of course. Well it's been a while since you've heard from us. Years to be exact. We're married now!!! we got married when Dison was 3. My baby .... well he's not a baby anymore he's six now. (Tears) he's grown up so fast.

Mason opened a chain of shoe stores across Georgia and some of Florida to extend the brand. He's going on a trip with his workers to do inventory and marketing in Miami tonight.

Mason hasn't left us this long before. he'll be gone for almost a week.

"Mama can we go to granny's house tonight?" Dison asked.

"Dison we can't go tonight cause granny and pop are on a cruise remember?"

"What about nana?"

"Nana is coming next week after daddy gets back okay?"

"Okay" he said in a sad voice and walked back to his room.

I started to clean up and cook. after I finished cooking and the men of the house, they ate and continued to go about their routine.

"Okay baby I'm about to leave. Dison come here."

I walked to him and hugged him really tight.

He held my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I love you" he said in my ear.

"I love you." I said kissing his cheek. I slick thought I was about to cry.

"Come her little man." he said picking Dison up.

"take care of your mama okay? "

Dison nodded.

After Mason left me and Disinterested hung out around the house, baked a cake but we were still bored. I called up Cedric  to see what he and Ava were up to.

Cedric had a daugher about two years after Dison was born. Ava is so beautiful and smart but her mother Brit ……yesssssssss the same bitch who called herself kicking him out of his own apartment.  I can't stand her but we deal with her for Ava's sake.

"hey, what are you doing today me and Dis are bored"

"shit nothing me and Ava just chilling..."

after I talked to Ced I got myself and Dison together.  we drove about 15minutes into fairburn to Ced's house he just bought.  Disinterested ass fell asleep in the back seat so I got out and picked him up from the back seat. 

I began to walk up Ced's big ass hill from the drive way to the front door.  I observed the neighborhood.  it seems nice, better than his last.  I heard foot steps behind me and turned around and saw this tall ass Hispanic guy walking behind me .

"whats up?"

he had a strong ass accent

"ummmm I'm no ones "ma ".except his and you can definitely talk to my husband good by "

I sped up walking to the door but I felt like he was following me.

fuck.

"Yo!"

"leave me alone!! " I said approaching the door and it swung open. 

"hey kels get in the house " Cedric said forcefully

I walked in and put disinterested down who had awaken already. 

I looked back at Cedric who was closing the door behind him.  I heard him threw the door.

"man what did I tell you about stalking my company,  ima call the damn police on your ads I don't give a damn if you are on meds nigga "

& he came back in and locked the door. 

"sorry about that Kelci you okay?"

"yes Ced I'm good. what was that about? "

"don't worry about."

"TT!!!!!" Ava said running in the room

"heyyy baby girl ".I said bending down to hug her "I missed you pretty girl ".

" I missed you twu.  daddy and me played dolls today "

"with out me? "

"sorry "

"Well you and Dison go play so me and your daddy can talk "

after they left I fixed myself something to drink and sat down on the couch where Ced was. 

"so whats up?  you finally settled? "

"getting there, so Mas left already huh? "

"ugh yeah, I'll be bored for a whole damn week. I don't even know what to do with my self ".I laughed

Cedric sighed and laid his head back on the couch.  he seemed stressed.  I already knew it had something to do with Brit but he's never been bugged out like this. 

"Cedric."

"yeah?" he said not moving

"what happened now? "

"what do you mean "he sat up

I smirked my face cause he's acting stupid.  he starred at me. and sighed again. 

"okay. she's been bitching at me like she actually had rights to Ava.  she signed her over 3years ago and now she's trying to be in her life all of a sudden "

"Avas 4. What' makes her think she'll even really remember her."

"that's what I'm saying. you've been in her life damn more than that bitch has and yeah she gave Ava to me but I can't stand that. girl.  she's not even a women.  she's a little ass girl "

I got up and hugged him.

"look,  I know you're stressed with work and getting her ready for preschool so let me take her this weekend and you just get you some time. "

"I appreciate that. "

"niggardly I know.  its gets boring around the house cause Dison is to good.  "

we both laughed.

after a while the sun was setting and Mason doesn't like me out to late when he's not in town so I got me and Dison together and we headed out the door.

"see you Friday bro. " I hugged Cedric and me and Disinterested walked to my car.

"aye lil mama …" I heard come out from around the corner.
