Sunday
I woke up to go make breakfast and when i walked in the kitchen I saw Chris in the kitchen at the stove mixing pancakes and trying to crack an egg. He didn't notice I was behind him so I just stood there on the wall with my arms crossed.
he tried finding a pan for the bacon and ended up spilling some pancake batter on the floor which made me laugh. I startled him and he turned around quickly. He looked at the floor and back up at me.
"need some help?"
he nodded and shot a half grin .
he began cleaning up the spill while I finished prepping the rest of the food. I plugged my phone in the iHome and began playing some music, as I poured rice in a cup.
"kels can I talk to you ?" Chris asked breaking the silence through the music.
"yeah"
"I'm really sorry about what I said. it was mad disrespectful and you and Mas do a lot for me ."
"yeah we have and we'll continue to do it too."
"I'm just sorry I , I lost my cool and got out of line when I knew that I was in the wrong "
"Chris its okay, just glad you acknowledged what you did, gimme a hug"
he hugged me ."okay so after you eat I need you to run to the store for me. okay?"
"okay" he replied fixing the table .
Mason walked in with a a letter in his hand.
"Hey baby , good morning" i walked up to him and kissed him.
"good morning my queen" he smacked my booty and laughed.
"ewwww." Chris said from behind us.
"Lil nigga take notes " Mason
"baby what's this?" I said referring to the paper in his hand .
he grabbed my hand and lead me in the living room.
I looked at him, cause his facial expression and tone mood changed.
"babe what's up, what is it?"
"I got a letter from my uncle I'm jail."
"Chris'--"
he nodded.
"what does it say?"
"that we need to take him back to new york to see him."
"when are you gonna tell him and when are we going?"
"I'm not sure , but babe its gonna have to just be me and him"
