I woke up to an empty house. I knew everybody would on there way home in a few hours. House was clean so I just chilled.

It was about 11am when I heard the garage open and I ran downstairs to help them out. I walked out and saw ten getting out the car.

"I got it " I said to mason and took the baby bag, while he got the baby out. Kelci was still sore so he had to come back and get her while I watched the baby.

"Kels stop moving so fast before you rip something" Mason said.

"Mas shut the hell up. I just had a baby I'll be fine." She replied .

"I'm just trying to help baby."

Kelci kept moving .

"Hey Chris." she hugged me and I gently hugged back.

"Mas has been bugging the hell out of me."

"I see ."

"I'm gonna go take a nap now" she said an walked away.

I went into the baby's room where mason was holding Alani over her crib.

"Hey I can watch her while you get some sleep " I said walking in.

He turned around and looked at me.

"You ever held a baby?"

"Yeah , I held all Aunt Lynn's kids. I mean I dropped one but that was only because she slapped me in my eye. I'm sure she won't i gestures towards the baby and chuckled.

"If you drop my daughter .... I'll kill you" he handed her to me and gave me this look.

"I gotcha man." I said walking to the rocking chair"

I sat down and looked down at her. she was so pretty. she looked just like Kelci . she looked up at me and I felt like we bonded for a moment she technically wasn't my sister but I'm going to treat her like she is.

After a while she fell back to sleep. I turned her monitor on. when Mason woke up I told him I was leaving in a while for the dinner.

I had to text Alicia back and told her I was out taking care of some things if she needed me. I hope that wouldn't sound to suspicious.

I dressed in a green and pink polo, khakis, and clarks. Grabbed my phone and keys and was out the door. I backed out the drive way and drove over one house to the right and honked my horn.

Couple minutes later Cacie walked out in a Tight black dress and some nude color heels. Her hair was done like sh was about to go clubbing . shaking my damn head .

She got in.

"I can tell you're a horrible fake boyfriend already . "

"What ? " I said

"How you gone honk your horn at me like I'm hoe. "

I looked at her like she was stupid.

Put my truck in drive . Suck my teeth at her.

"Girl you better but your damn seatbelt on and shut that shit up." and I sped off.

"I'm just saying you have to play the part Chris."

After 10minutes of nothing I turned on my music and played something to break the awkward ness.

The intro to J.Cole's 2014 Forrest Hill Drive played through my speakers.

"I know I kinda force you into with black mail but I really do appreciate you doing this. We were friends before we had sex . I would like to get back there." She said looking at me then looked at the window.
