Chris POV

Alicia texted me when I got back to Aunt Lins house but she was dry texting. I really hope she ain't starting that running thing again. Cause ion have time for that shit anymore. She texting me like she mad at me.

Her friend Ali been hitting me up too. I have no idea why but she texting me asking random ass questions and I'll hit her ass with a "Idk ask Licia" then she'll get salty. If you asked me I think shorty Tryna get with me on the low and I would tell Alicia she wouldn't act all stank.

Anyways....

Today is Friday now and it's my last day here. There's one more visitation today. I dress in my long sleeve ,button up blue Ralph Lauren shirt, khakis , and my tan Clarks. Mason tried to copy me and wear a red shirt and his black clarks .

We got our bags packed and brought down stairs. We're heading to the airport right after the visit. We said our good byes and all that and headed.

We walked out and down the stairs and I stood at the last step and did a quick look to the right , back to mason then I felt I knew the dude who was walking up the side walk.

I started at him for a minute. We were looking at each other dead in the face.

"What's up?" he did a head nod .

I didn't say anything cause I still felt like I knew this nigga. He walked by me and I clicked.

"Darren?!" I said

He turned around and looked at me .

"D it's me Chris.

He squinted his eyes at me .

"Bra Chis ? man that ain't Chris !" he smiled. "Chris ,Chris ? wanwan Chris ?"

"Yeah!"

We walked up to each other and exchange hugs.

"Wassup man?" I said

"Shit, you know I'm living ."

"You still stay over down from 4th?" I asked

"Uhh naw , I moved after my pops OD."

"What!? when?"

"A little after you left actually. "

"Damn man I'm sorry ."

"I mean it's cool. Why you back?"

"My pops wrote me and wanted me to come see him."

"You moving back before graduation ?"

"Uhh naw actually "

"Awe damn . the south kidnapped you and won't let you move back ?"

I laughed. "Naw man. That's my new home though. My girl there."

"Oh shit ! Chris cuffing ?" he looked amazed.

"Yeah man." I replied.

"Aye Chris c'mon man. We gotta go." mason called out for me .

"Oh damn, D your number still the same ?"

"Yeah. I'll see you another time. hit me up when back up here." He said and we exchanged manly hugs

"Alright "

I got in the truck and we too off.

"One of your old friends ?" my aunt asked.

My phone vibrates as I was about to respond.

"Yeah" I said as I unlocked it to a long ass message from Alicia with screen shots.

"......One of my friends Chris ? really ?"
