*later that night*
*the auditorium is filled with guests who are ready to see the play*
Nessa: I think ima throw up
Roni: Me too. Im very nervous. I don't know why I have this gut feeling that something is going to happen.
Nessa: No! Don't say that!
Teacher: I have horrible news!
Nessa: *sighs* Damn it Roni
*the cast and crew all gather around*
Teacher: Laura has gotten sick with a cold
Nessa: But she's our lead! We didn't assign an understudy because there were not enough people!
Teacher: I know... I'm afraid this means the play has to be canceled
Nessa: No! I refuse to accept that. There has to be another way
Christian: Roni!
Roni: What?!
Christian: You wrote the play! You know the story forwards and backwards. You can play the lead
Roni: HUH?!
Nessa: Yes Roni! It's our only hope!
Roni: I am not an actress!
Nessa: You got your twin as a director. I will quickly coach you. We got no choice
Roni: *sighs* Fine
Nessa: *grabs Roni and takes her to the bathroom where they start rehearsing*
*half an hour later*
Nessa: *runs out of the bathroom and bumps into someone*
Andrew: Oops?
Nessa: Oh hey *hugs him*
Andrew: *hugs her back*
Nessa: You came!
Andrew: The fact that you doubted it makes me sad
Nessa: Noooo. Do not be sad. I don't even know what I am saying at this point. Im really stressed
Andrew: Why stressed?
Nessa: The play has not even started yet and it's already a mess
Andrew: I'm sure you will figure out how to solve it
Nessa: Surprising, Christian was the one who figured out how to fix it
Andrew: Well, that's unexpected
Nessa: I know. *sighs* Look I really have to go
Andrew: *nods* I'll see you after the play. *smiles* We'll all be waiting
Nessa: *now nervous* All?...
Andrew: You really thought the group wouldn't come to your big day?
Nessa: Well...
Andrew: Hey, we got your back Nessa
Nessa: *nods* I know
Andrew: *kisses her forehead* Big luck
Nessa: *smiles* Thank you *runs off*
*now backstage. Five minutes before showtime*
Nessa: Alright. The time has come. I am prepared for something amazing to happen out there. Roni I know you are not used to being up on stage acting, but you wrote this beautiful storyline and you will do amazing. *sighs* Christian, I have to admit, you have showed to be a great actor. You are also very committed. I have high expectations for tonight. To the stage crew, I know it seems like you are the least appreciated, but we appreciate it all. The play wouldn't be possible without you. And the rest of the actors, you got this! You have talent and you have passion. Now let's do this!
*after the show*
Aaron: *hugs Roni* You did amazing!
Alex: Seriously, since when do you act?
Wendy: Yea. I thought you wrote the play?
Roni: I did write it but our lead got sick so I had to play the lead. I'm very glad this story was not a love story
Nessa: *chuckles* You did great
*Andrew and the rest of the squad approach them*
Andrew: *hands Nessa a bouquet of flowers*
Nessa: Aw Andrew
Andrew: You deserve them. The play was great but that's all thanks to its wonderful director
Brent: You both did great
Roni: Thanks Brent
Nessa: *smiles* Thanks
Lexi H: Teach me your ways girl
Pierson: Yea! I wanna be an actress! Train me!
Nessa: *laughs* Yea. Sure.
