Just like Andrew said it wasn't too long until Delia became conscious again. About fifteen minutes after the whole Daniel, Hunter incident, she opened her eyes. It took Delia a second to adjust, she didn't remember anything besides crying on the floor of her bedroom, now she woke up on a bed with her younger brothers clinging to her practically squishing all the oxygen out of her lungs and Andrew sitting by her bedside carefully observing her expression looking for signs of discomfort.
"Are you ok? You look a little pale. When figured you would be fine after some rest and I have some fever medicine you need to take. But I could be wrong, are you ok? Do you have a stuffed up nose? No? A headache? Any sore muscles? Do you feel woozy?" Andrew ranted his eyebrows furrowing in concern, his tone becoming more worried when Delia made gestures waving her arms frantically. Finally, Delia managed to remove Artie and Drew's body weigh off her torso so she could sit up respond.
'I'm fine. I think my feet fell asleep' She signed looking accusingly at Artie and Drew. They both looked down at their hands in embarrassment. Delia smiled and ruffled their hair, she knew they hadn't meant any harm and were just worried about her.
"That's good here's the medicine you need to take now." Andrew passed her plastic cup with some kids' medicine in liquid form and grape flavored, of course. Both Artie and Drew scooted far away from the purple liquid. Delia would have giggled at how averse they were to just the smell of the medicine, but she had her on concerns she she was the one who had to drink it.
With hesitation she took it from Andrew before plugging her nose and chugging it. A shudder and grimace later it was all over. Seeing the corners of Andrew's mouth lifting up in a smile, Delia huffed in annoyance, he was enjoying this way to much. And she thought Andre was the immature one.
Trying to take Delia's mind off his obvious betrayal Andrew wisely decided to change the subject.
"You caused quite the scene with your collapse." Andrew commented.
'Oh, who discovered me?' Delia asked distractedly as she stared at the mural she hadn't managed to quite complete.
"Daniel did." Drew said excited that he knew something Delia didn't. Andrew grimaced, maybe he shouldn't have changed the subject.
"Yeah, he didn't know what to do so he screamed for Gracen and called Andrew. But he did know to put you on the bed." Artie said carefully observing his sister's reaction, not wanting the talk of Daniel to endanger her currently stable state. He had heard this account from Gracen before he left towards downstairs, where was Gracen anyways?
Delia just nodded to say that she had heard and continued to stare at the wall. Drew hadn't quite figured out that this may not be the best topic to discuss and continued his rant.
"Yeah then Gracen kicked him out. But he didn't and Andrew shouted and rushed her. And mom came, but only checked on Daniel. Andrew felt sick so he sent both of them out and examined you. Me, Artie and Hunter stuck around, but Hunter left for something." Drew said his voice still energetic. "Oh, and there was large crash like glass breaking earlier. But there was no more shouting so I guess everything is good." Delia looked slightly worried, but didn't make a move to try to escape her bed, which Andrew was planning on keeping her in for awhile. A knock sounded at the door. Andrew stood up and opened it.
"Hey, we need to talk."
