I felt my heartbeat speed up as the guard said that the driver with my baby siblings was pulling up the driveway. However I kept my expression neutral. I was excited to see Delia again and meet the twins for the first time. Delia was a bubbly, sweet four-year-old the last time I saw her. She would be thirteen by now. And the twins eight.

No one had known our mother was pregnant when she left with Delia. Evidently things hadn't been easy and mom had found a new father unfortunately it seemed like he was into drugs and now they were both detained in jail for now. The trial wasn't for a couple weeks though.

Quickly I informed Gracen and Hunter to meet me in the front reception so we could greet our siblings. Gracen was in charge of making them comfortable, his energetic and outgoing personality making easy. Hunter would show them to their rooms.  There was a knock on the front doors, one of the maids opened and gestured them to where I was trying to stand casually. It wasn't very successful from the smirk on Gracen's face.

Delia's blond hair had darkened a couple shades from when she was younger, her eyes were still the same warm brown and of course she grew taller now probably around 5' 4". Her outfit was casual, a large gray hoodie and black leggings. What surprised me was her expression, she didn't smile and her gaze was constantly flickering around the room. The twins were identical and adorable they had wavy brown hair like Hunter but there eyes were a grayish blue like mine. Neither of them was smiling either but their gaze seemed to be focused on us. I decided we should introduce ourselves. After we were done, looked pointedly at them to introduce them selves like we had.

One of the twins stepped forward after a few seconds. He smiled showing off dimples and introduced himself, his twin and his sister. I was a little upset that they didn't follow the pattern I had set, but excused as him as just being excited. Gracen gently explained that wasn't what was expected and suggested he be more careful in front of others. Although the way he said it was a little harsh what he said was in line with my thinking.

Delia stepped forward and began to make signals with her hands both twins watched intently while we stared, confused. Arthur transplanted what Delia said. Delia was mute? That didn't make any sense, she wasn't mute when she was little and her medical records showed no incident that would have caused it.

She was lying to us. I don't know if she wanted attention or she just didn't want to talk to us, but she lied. This was unacceptable while my fury was mounting Hunter led them to their rooms. Regardless if she escaped for know we were going to hash this out when we went over rules after dinner tonight. Hopefully she would come clean before then, then I wouldn't have to punish her as harshly.
"Gracen, she lied to us."
A sigh came before Gracen responded, "Yeah, after she and the twins ducked their heads they were probably feeling guilty about the act. I just hope the guilt is enough for them to apologize before we have to confront them."

Gracen headed towards the kitchen he wanted to make the first meal they had in their new home. I smiled Gracen was tough and a great businessman, but he always took notice of the little things and loved to care for his family.

I still had some work to go through before dinner. So, I walked upstairs to the office connected to my room to get it done. Before I started work I gazed at the picture of our family. We found them Dad.
