He held me as we tried to catch our breath.
"We need to get her out of me." I groaned.
"We will babe."
"Soon Ryan. I need my own body back and I just want to hold her."
"Come on, let's go lay down." I nodded while he kissed my forehead as he helped me down from the counter. I lay down on the bed, placing my hand on my bulging belly.
"Come on baby girl, mommy really wants to meet you." She kicked making me smile.
"Love you too Ali girl." Ryan came in, kissing my belly.
"You better come soon okay." He wrapped his arms around me placing our hands on my belly.
"Love you."
"Love you too."

"Ryan." I groaned.
"Hmm."
"Wake up, I think my water broke." He shot up making me laugh at him.
"Thank you for listening to mommy."
"Let's go." I nodded changing as he ran around getting everything ready. I could tell he was scared out of his mind as he was racing around.
"Babe."
"Right."
He came in and helped me to the car. I grabbed my phone and called my mom.
"Hello." Mom answered half asleep.
"Mommy, my water broke so we're on our way to the hospital."
"Okay, I will be there soon."
"Okay."
"Love you baby girl."
"Love you too." I hung up and texted Ivey that my water had broken.
"Mom is going to meet us there."
"Same with my dad." I nodded, rubbing my hands down my belly. Pulling up to the hospital he rushed out and ran inside. After a couple of minutes he came out with a nurse and a wheelchair.
"Breathe babe." He nodded and they wheeled me inside. I grabbed his hand to hopefully calm him down. We finally got the room and hooked me up to everything. Ryan squeezed my hand the whole time as they watched them set up.
"What's this for?" I asked looking over the bracelet she put on me.
"To match mommy to baby." I smiled, turning to Ryan who was still looking scared.
"Ryan look at me." He looked at me and moved closer to me.
"Everything is okay, just breathe okay." He nodded, leaning in for a kiss.
"Jessica, you're in full active labor at six centimeters. Won't be long until your baby is here." I smiled then a contraction hit making me groan in pain.
"I need you to rub my back." He nodded, helping me move into a better position to rub my back.
"Lower."
"There's my girl." Mom smiled walking into the room.
"Mom."
"Hey honey, how are you doing?"
"In pain."
"Yea that's what labor is. Where are you at?"
"Six."
"She's going to be here soon." I nodded as another contraction hit and grabbed onto her hands.
"This is the worst part, but once she is in your arms it's all forgotten."
