"Are those.. obsidian tears?" Grover bends down to pick up a medium sized - not to mention thick, perfect shaped teardrop made from obsidian.
I smile. "Yeah I usually cry out obsidian tears when I'm truly sad. Otherwise, it'll just be black liquid. Like ink used for writing." I explain.
"Why don't you ever collect them?" Percy asks.
I shrug. "Because they tend to break instantly when they hit the ground."
"So, if your a Goddess, does that mean you have many forms like your father and mother and the rest?" Grover asks, still amazed by my obsidian teardrops.
"Yeah. I have the Phoenix, only it's like a Demonic Phoenix." I state simply as a Centaur stands out front looking for Percy.
We all stood silent as Percy nods at Grover. Looking back at my cousin, he just gives me a soft smile and a pat on my shoulder before he leaves to talk to the Centaur alone.
I look at Grover all confused. "Grover, what's going on?" I ask him.
He just stays silent before telling me in a hushed voice that Percy was going to talk to me about it later.
I didn't understand what he meant by that. What was Percy going to talk to me about?
...
Meanwhile in Forks
"Alice are you sure about this person?" Edward asks his adopted sister.Alice nods her head in confirmation while looking at Jasper. "She'll be her in less than two weeks."
Carlisle sighs. "We don't even know who... or what she is. Can you give us a little more details please?" He asks all concerned.
Alice grins wide while looking at her mate, Jason. "Nope. All I can tell you is that the person is a she and she will be here in less than two weeks!"
Everyone groans. Jasper looks at his best friend and sister. "Will you at least tell us why your telling us?" He says, his Major on the brink of coming out.
All Alice did was shake her head and held up the picture of the necklace (the one at the top) she drew. "No I will not, but I will give this to all of you as a clue. It'll be either on her wrist, around her neck, or hanging out of the pocket on her leather jacket."
Alice had seen who and what this girl is capable of and she knew she's going to be Jasper's mate and a wolf's imprint in which the wolf will have no choice but to love this girl as a sister. Jasper will finally have a mate and no wolf will not be taking her away from him.
Not if Alice could help it. Plus, she put a barrier up so Edward wouldn't try to take a sneak peak and see what this girl looks like. To Alice, she looks so beautiful, she could almost say she was a devil beneath a beauty's skin.
Little did Alice know, how true that thought really is.
....
Back at Camp Half-Blood
I waited patiently as I could. Walking back and forth from one side of the room to the other wasn't helping but it was the only thing distracting me.Grover and the rest could probably see that I was counting how many footsteps I would have until Percy was done talking with the Centaur, because none of them stopped me. At least until Luke came.
I could tell he tried to talk to me but Grover stopped him. Even though I was looking at the floor, I could still see everything that was going on.
Then, I heard the voices of my two bestest friends from the whole wide Underworld. Jack and Vickie were making their way up to me, with Vickie shouting to see if I was alright.
I didn't see them because I was preoccupied with my very thoughts and my footsteps until the beam of Underworld sunshine came tumbling onto me.
I scream out an 'oomph' as I land on the hard floor of the Cabin with Vickie hugging onto me tightly.
"Vickie! Can you please get off? Your body is crushing mine!" I say in between gasps for air.
"Oops, I'm so sorry Tiger Lily! It was all my fault again!" She groans as she stood up, taking me with her.
I just laugh a little. "No it wasn't your fault. It was mine because I wasn't paying much attention at first so that's why we stumbled and fell." I respond with a matter of fact tone to it.
Vickie smiles down at me. "Oh jeez. I know you like to stick up for everyone especially when it comes to things like what just happened, but please don't do this anymore from this moment forth. It's okay to not do this, you know." She told me while she took ahold of my shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes.
I smile at her softly and put my two hands on hers that are still placed on my shoulders. "I know, I know. But I like standing up and giving reasons because truth be told it really was me."
Her face hardened into one of the expressions I really didn't like. "And I told you, that it's totally okay not to do that. I love how you stand up for me and everyone else saying that it's your fault when it really isn't, but I don't think it's wise to be continuing with it." She said in her commander tone before leaving.
I look at the space she was standing in with shock. I've never heard her use that type of tone with me. It was always used on her younger brother, Jack.
"What..?" I say to the open air. I wanted to go after her and see if she could explain it in way that I can understand because I don't know why she wants me to stop. In fact, what did she even mean by 'I don't think it's wise to be continuing with it'? But when I do try to go after her, Grover grabs ahold of my arm as the rest leave.
So now, it's just me and him waiting for Percy to get back. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait any longer because he did come back.
I look at him with confusion etched on every single piece of my face. "What's going on Perc? Am I in trouble?" I ask worriedly, jumping to a conclusion wasn't at all my thing but it's become a thing for me ever since I got here.
He shakes his head and laughs. "No Lillian. Your not in any kind of trouble at all. However, I will need to speak with you alone without Grover. Is that alright." He looks my way.
I nod my head, still confused. "Yeah, but why would you need my permission to talk to me alone? I'm like the youngest person here." I state.
This time, he and Grover laughed a little. "You know, you're a very funny person." Grover says before he walks away.
Leaving only me and my cousin behind to talk things out alone.
"Why'd you want to talk to me alone?" I ask.
