Everyone was getting ready for the second half with their respective teams to exemplify in the spirit of the soccer that grace displayed in different ways perhaps the best players again.

"Where were you dear? What made you take so long? And Dad kab tak aayenge?" Asked Philips to which she replied "Dugga maa ke Mandir gayi thi and uncle must be on his way." Listening this Anirudh felt something odd but shrugged off his feelings as he thought her devotion towards her Dugga maa must not have changed. "What's the score?" asked Bondita keeping her umbrella aside handing him the water bottle. "5-4" Philips replied in an elated way. "Great and I know you will win. All the best." She said grinning. "Now that my Suzie's best wishes are with me, I'll definitely win." He said cupping her cheeks. Seeing this, Chandrachur who was staring them with a sullen look out of jealousy decided to interfere in order to separate from their position. His obsession for Bondita wasn't decreased at all. He approached them holding the file containing the documents as an excuse to talk to her. "Umm, woh darasal jab tak officer nahi aajaate, main chahta hu ki aap ye kaagazad parakh le. Toh jab woh aayenge toh unka zyaada samay barbaad nahi hoga na. Aur aap Barrister bhi hai, toh ye kaagzaad ache se samjhengi." Bondita was about to speak when Philips interrupted her and said "Mr. Chandrachur, shaayad kal aapne suna nahi, she doesn't consider herself as a Barrister anymore aur waise bhi meri wife mera match miss kar degi aapke kaam ke wajah se, and I don't want that." making him frown. By the time the announcement was made for second half. Chandrachur stood there itself beside her even after Philips left.

Left, and then right... Philips went dodging the opponent players. Both the families were seated glancing at the match as they didn't had an option rather than waiting for the officer to arrive. Anirudh was least interested in whatever was going on around and was looking at the papers checking them but half of his mind was fixed at thinking about Bondita. Not the one standing in front of him watching the match whom he doesn't consider as his Bondita . He was in deep thoughts about the things that took place earlier. Last night during their encounter after the party when he saw tears in her eyes, he has been thinking deeply that, was she actually at fault? Was she deserved to be punished? Was she speaking the truth six months ago when she was accused?  Indeed, her eyes were the evidence for him to prove her innocence at that time itself, only if he would have been her old sakha babu, her birristra babu. Then she wouldn't have been punished.

When Philips kicked the ball hitting the net and making a goal, Anirudh saw her jumping and clapping her hands in happiness just as she did in her childhood. A smile crept on his face witnessing her old-self after so long and her happy face was indeed a treat for him no matter whatever the reason was. She continued jumping until she stamped on Chandrachur's foot who was standing beside with her block heeled shoe which made him scream a bit and with that Anirudh's trance broke and he nodded his head side ways in hopelessness when she didn't even apologize Chandrachur and instead glanced at him once and looked away as if nothing happened.

Only thirty seconds were left for the match to finish and the scores of both the teams was already a tie. One final kick would do and his team would win the game. Philips's eyes were stuck on the ball watching it while kicking being sure that he would make it. His team would be the winner if he could kick the ball through the goal post. He kicked the ball and it swooshed past the opposite team and he made his move by aiming at the post when suddenly an outsider came running towards both the families for which he had to cross the ground due to which the ball didn't hit the post infact the man tumbled upon it and fell down making his team lose the match. The time was already up and the opposite team was gathered together twirling, jumping and celebrating as they won. Philips was fuming in anger and approached the man who was fallen down due to getting tumbled by the ball.

The man was one of the worker from Durga maa's temple which is situated at the border of Tulsipur and Krishna Nagar where the sword fight among both the village takes place. As he got to hear a shocking news, he didn't waste a single minute to go and inform about this to both the Netaas  of the respective areas. As he got to know that both the families are present in the nearby garden he ran towards the place and saw them inside. Due to the urgency to give this news, he didn't even notice that a match was going on and that's when he tumbled upon the ball and fell.

Philips pulled up the man by collar of his kurta and said "You murky fellow! How dare you get inside the field that too when a match was going on." The man was joining the hands apologizing for the mistake he did. By the time Bondita and other family members reached there recognizing him. Bondita made Philips leave the man and both the families sighed in relief as she came there for his rescue. But instead she gave him a tight slap across his face making him fall near Philips' feet shocking them. "Chalo! Pao pakad ke maafi maango." She uttered furiously The man looked up in shock seeing Bondita like this and as he knew her as a polite person who respected everyone regardless their level and dignity and helped the needy even after being the daughter of Das family who were the head of Krishna Nagar. Others were also shocked seeing her like this. "Dekh kya rahe ho? Suna nahi kya tumne? Sirf tumhari wajhah se aaj pehli baar Philips ki team match haar gayi. Tumhe toh main..." saying this she was about to raise her hand on him when she felt a strong grip on her wrist. It was Anirudh who stopped her to do so. Both of them glared each other in anger while he uttered "Tumse ye ummeed nahi thi. It was just a match for God sake." To which she rolled her eyes away. Somnath and Chandrachur came forward raised him up to make him stand. Thakuma asked "Arrey Rajiv,  tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?" "Mujhe aap sab ko kuch batana hai." They all listen to him keenly while he continued "Dugaa maa ka mandir tootne wala hai. Woh naye afsar ek angrez vyapaari ke saath milkar ek naya udyog (industry) khada karna chahte hai mandir todke." Both the family members were in utter shock after hearing this. "Arrey aise kaise mandir tod denge." Trilochan raised his voice hitting his stick on the ground. "Tumhe kaise pata chala" asked Chandrachur. Maine afsar saab aur unke aadimiyo ko iss vishay mein baat karte suna aur woh..." "Tch tch tch. Jis Mandir mein darshan aur Ekadashi ki pooja ke mauke ke liye do gaon ke beech Vaarshik mukabla chalta tha, woh mandir hi nahi bachega" Bondita interrupted Rajiv saying this with a baleful laugh. She continued walking towards the Das family looking at Chandrachur "Mujhe toh aap logo par taras aa raha hai. Chhall (cheating) se hi sahi, par aap log toh mukabla iss baar jeetakar bhi haar gaye. Kyuki Ekadashi ke mahapooja ke pehle mandir bachega hi nahi. " Anirudh remembered when she said earlier that she had gone to Durga maa's mandir. He turned her around and asked "tumhe ye sab pehle se hi pata tha? Matlab tum bhi inn sab mein shaamil ho?" To which she shrugged her shoulders and said "Ab samajhdar ko ishaara kaafi hai." And gave a smirk to him.
