Chapter 10

Dean's POV

Seth's non-obsession with getting Charlie back is driving me insane.

Why doesn't he care? Doesn't he still love her?

When I look into my rearview mirror, that jackass is on his phone, probably playing fucking flappy bird.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"Tweeting." He answers simply which makes me wanna beat his fucking face in.

"Really? You're fucking tweeting when Charlie's in trouble?"

"Well, it's not like driving around is gonna help our situation now is it."

That's it. I've had it.

I pull over furiously, nearly causing Emma to have a heart attack.

I drag the asshole out of the car, throwing him to the ground. I deliver a kick to his ribs and yank him by his shirt.

"Listen bitch. You may not give a shit what happens to Charlie, but I do. I love her!"

"You love her? Really? If you love her so much, why did you send her home?"

"You were in on this too, jackass."

I knee him in the ribs and let him fall back to the ground.

"Why are you so obsessed with saving her?" He asks questioningly.

"Why are you not?"

"I mean, I want her back, but she's not what my life revolves around."

"That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard!" I snap.

"She's taken over your life, Dean. She's in your life all the time and that's not necessarily a good thing."

"Well, it is for me."

"Well then, you have fun with that, but don't ask for my fucking help!"

I grab him, pulling him up furiously, slamming him against the car.

"Listen here you selfish bitch. Charlie is everything to me and she is mine. All mine. Stop trying to pretend you save her like on a daily basis."

"Oh and you do?"

"Yes! I do."

Seth pushes me back, making me fling at him harder and Mini Charlie manages to wiggle her way into the argument, pulling us away from each other.

"Stop! Stop this fighting! It's not gonna help her at all."

We stare in shock at the small, perky brunette. She holds a lot of truth. We just need to focus on saving Charlie and I never have to deal with this jackass again.
