Chapter 14

Dean's POV

"This is fucking insane!" I say as Emma and I walk down the parking lot, to my rental.

"The fact that you left Seth on the side of the street or that you tackled Bray and got kicked out of a damn hotel?"

I kick the trunk once I get to the car. "Shut the fuck up, Emma."

"Look, yelling at me isn't gonna do anything for her. This is not my fault, Dean."

"You were fucking with her, Emma. You could've saved her."

Her mouth drops open slightly and I realize I've said the wrong fucking thing.

"I saw my sister being taken away from me and now I'm being blamed for it?" She asks with tear filled eyes. "Well then FUCK YOU, DEAN!"

She walks away. I feel like I'm not only losing her, but Charlie too. I can't let her walk away.

"Emma!"

"Leave me the hell alone!" She yells back at me.

"Where the hell are you even going?" I start to follow in her footsteps.

"Away from you!"

"Come on! Just get back in the damn car!"

"Hell no!" She never takes a look back at me. She just walks on.

I continue to follow her, picking up the pace in hopes of catching her, but trying not to look like a fucking pervert. "Look Emma, I shouldn't have said what I said. I'm just frustrated okay?"

She stops in her tracks so I stop in mine. She doesn't face me, but I see her fists clench at her sides. That's when she whips around.

"IN FRUSTRATED TOO, DEAN!" She screams in my face. "This is my big sister we're talking about! I'm frustrated, but you don't see me trying to blame you for the stupid ass decision you made to send her home!"

"It was Seth's idea!"

"Oh and look where that got us! You two are mad at each other once again! I guess the buddy routine is over for now."

"Emma, I'm sorry okay? I know this is all my fault. I just wanna make it better." I plead to her. "For the both of us."

She sighs, moving her eyes to anything, but mine. "Then help me get her back."
