Chapter 59

Charlie's POV

"What the hell do you want?" I ask, standing face to face with Kane.

Kane hasn't given me much problems yet, except for the time he helped Bray almost rape me.

"I'm here for warning. Seth has sent me."

"Seth sent you to me? I highly doubt that."

"Charlie, you're in a lot of trouble." He says. "You're in a lot of danger and Mr. Rollins is doing his best to protect you. What he doesn't know is that he can't."

I shake my head. "You're ridiculous." I say, starting to close the door.

He stops it with his foot, causing me to roll my eyes. "Like I said, you're in danger. I'm here to help you."

"Look, I don't need your help, and I don't want your help. I can handle Bray and Brian."

I know this isn't true. I can't even handle one of them, let alone both of them.

"Fine. But when you realize what they're gonna do to you, I won't have a chance to say I told ya so. So I'll say it now." He says. "I told ya so."

Then I shut the door in his face.

Dean's POV

I'm completely wasted. Roman is watching me finish my fifth shot. He's just staring at me, disapprovingly.

"Dude! This is the life!" I yell.

"Don't you wanna go home and see your girlfriend?" He asks.

"Naw man. It's so nice to just have a guys night without the drama."

He chuckles, taking another sip of his alcohol free root beer. I roll my eyes at this.

"But really. There's so much going on in our lives. You and I never have a chance to just go out, man."

"Yeah, but I get it. You have to be with Charlie."

"Look, Charlie's everything to me. But you're my brother, Roman. You and her are all i have."

He nods, "I know."

AJ's POV

"So, do you want a drink or something?" I ask Seth as he sits on the couch.

"Naw, I'm good."

That's when my phone rings uncontrollably.

"Friends get each other's phones!" I announce to Seth.

He smirks over at me before answering the small device. "Charlie!"

My eyes widen and I freeze on the spot. Oh shit! I instantly regret my decision to let her answer. She probably thinks we're doing it again.

I hurriedly run over to him, grabbing my phone away from his ear and putting it to mine. "Charlie! Hey!"

"Hi." She sounds upset.

"Look, Seth is just....."

"I don't wanna talk about him. I was gonna call him too. I need your help."

Charlie's POV

I try to put on a disguise that everything's fine as my parents and Noah walk through the door.

My 5 year old brother runs into my arms for a hug and I greet him openly.

"Hi guys!" I hug both my mom and dad before leading to the couch. "Dean should be home in a few hours." Oh, I hope he doesn't come home drunk.

"Can't wait, sweetie!" My mom chimes.

"So, can I get you guys anything?" I ask which they politely decline.

I sit back in a small chair, waiting for conversation to be started.

"So, how's work?" My dad asks. "When do you think we'll see you in the ring again?"

"I can't be sure."

I don't want to reveal that I was basically fired for in ring competition as of now.

"It's hard to say, but for now I'll be running the show as planned."

"Good. We're so proud of you, Charlie! Look how far you've come!" My mom says, almost bursting into tears. "I hear you made a visit home a few weeks ago."

"Um yeah..." I guess Emma must've said something. "I wanted to wait till you guys got home to leave, but work called and said they needed me on Smackdown so I had to rush back.

This seems like a good enough excuse.

"Well, we wish we would've gotten the chance to see you."

I hear the door fidget.

Please don't be drunk. Please don't be drunk!

Dean walks in moments later, surprised by my family sitting on the couch. He stares at them for a moment and just when I think something stupid and totally drunkish will come out of his mouth. "Hey."

I furrow my brows at him. Hey? Hey? Maybe he's not drunk.

"Hi babe. My family just came for a visit, and....."

"Cool!" He says, walking past me. He walks to the living room, throwing his arms up in the air. "IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!" He yells......okay, he's drunk......very drunk.

My eyes widen as I run over to him. "What he meant to say is that we took a recent trip to Disney World."

"Oh!" My mom says. "How was it?"

"Well, I think Dean really liked it."

I look over to see him walking right into the wall. I grab his arms, guiding him to our room.

"IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!" He yells once again as I push him in, shutting the door.

I smile innocently at my parents. "So.....what's been going on with you guys?"

AJ's POV

"So, you called Kane?" I ask Seth, trying to understand what the hell Charlie was talking about.

Apparently Seth sent Kane to tell her she's in danger, which is totally unusual.

"I knew she wouldn't believe me. She has to believe someone."

"And Kane was that someone?"

"Look, I'm running out of choices."

"Well, we have to do something about this."

"What the hell are we supposed to do?" Seth asks, exasperated. "Bray and Brian have this well thought out plan and we have nothing. You realize that right?"

"I thought Bray and Brian didn't want to hurt Charlie."

"I thought so too. But maybe their mind set has changed."

"What does that mean?"

He takes a deep breath. "It means that we're all in trouble. Prepare yourself for war."
