Chapter 54

Hey loves! I just wanted to say how much I love you all......but you probably don't care so I'll just get to the book. And I apologize in advance for this chapter.

Charlie's POV

It's hard lying to Dean. So when he comes out of the bathroom saying, "Who was that?" I look up at him wide eyed, throw my phone across the room and say, "Nobody!" in the most obvious lying tone ever.

He looks at me doubtfully. "You're a terrible liar."

"Thanks." I smile, hopping up and rushing to the bathroom before further interrogation can be made.

I quickly turn on the shower, stepping into the warm water, letting it calm my nerves.

I know what AJ's probably thinking right now. She probably thinks I hate her because of how I sounded on the phone. Really in truly, I don't mind that she slept with Seth. I'm not into that whole 'girl code' thing anyway. It's stupid. If I end things with someone, that doesn't automatically shut them off to everyone I associate with. It's just that this is Seth we're talking about. I feel a sense of betrayal.

Then there's also the fact that Punk is my friend and I never thought AJ would ever be unfaithful to him. It hurts keeping this from him, but she's my best friend. I just wish I could tell Dean, but I know what he'll do.

He'll kill Seth. The fact of the matter is that Dean and AJ are friends and once he finds out Seth drunken slept with another person against their will, especially someone who's close to Dean, he'll kill him.

So the fact of matter is.....I'm not telling him.

AJ's POV

Once I'm dressed and have paced enough to clear my head, I rush to Charlie's hotel room. I need to clear things up with her.

I knock on the door, which is opened moments later by Dean.

Great.

"Hey, um, where's C?"

"Shower. But come in."

I nod, passing him, heading to the couch.

"So, do you know what's wrong with her?"

"What?" What's wrong with Charlie?

"It's obvious she has some big secret considering when I questioned her, she threw her phone across the room and told me she wasn't talking to anyone. Now, either she was really talking to someone this morning and is obviously hiding something.......or she's just plain crazy."

"I'm going with the second one. You never know with her."

Dean smirks. "Now AJ," he takes a seat next to me, "I know you know something."

"What? What are you talking about? I don't know anything. What? Naw! No way! I have no idea what you're talking about!"

He raises his eyebrows at my intense blabbering. Man, I'm starting to act like Charlie.

"What is it?"

"Nothing Dean!"

"Is she in trouble?"

"No! You're crazy! She must be keeping a secret for someone else. I mean, it's obvious that's what she's doing. I mean....come on."

"The way you talk seems like you know exactly what this secret is and who she's keeping it for." He's onto me. Not literally of course. "What did you do, AJ?"

"I chopped the head off a pig."

His face disfigures and I immediately stand up, trying to escape. "Yep, that's my big secret. Well, I really must go, it was great talking to you, Dean."
