Fuck school. I'm dying here.

Exams are coming up and it's driving me crazy, heck its even driving Ryder crazy and he's the most careless person I know!

Natalie hasn't shown up in the last two weeks nor have I seen her since the run-in at the park two weeks ago.

She has her own shit to deal with, leave her be, Zade.

No I can't.

"Ryder?"

"What?" He asks, he's half asleep.

"You look like a raccoon-" His eyebags are so dark, I'm worried.

"Elaborate on that for me, will you?", He asks as he tries to hold in a yawn.

"Your eyebags maybe? Have you looked in the mirror recently?" I tell him.

"Well Zade, I've been up all night for the last two weeks studying, and I've been running on 6 cups of coffee and 2 hours of sleep." He said, putting his head down on the desk. Its independent studies right now.

Unlike everyone, I'm completely fine. I put myself on a very strict schedule and I go to bed at 11pm every night and study for 2-3 hours a day, aside from school.

You need to be in check, if you're up all night studying, that's gonna do you no good.

I'm at starbucks for work again.

I made a 'friend' at work. Not really. He's the only one I talk to and he's and old person who goes there just to pass time. I vent to him just as much as I vent in my notes app, but I don't think he listens much.

Bless his heart.

Venting to him is what I'm doing right now. We're both on break.

"Okay but highschool is so fricken stressful, like exams are about to come up in a couple weeks and Ryder already looks like a racoon!" I said frustrated.

He knows about Ryder, Natalie, my dogs, my motorcycle and Zayn.

"Kid, I can't help you there, but give Ryder the advice I gave you." He says.

He's the one who told me to keep on a tight schedule.

"I did but that dooche never listens!" I say but when he gives me a look for swearing, I apologize.

He doesn't like it when I swear.

"Mr. Bailey?"

"Yes?"

"Do you miss your wife?"

"Everyday M'boy." He says.

He told me his wife died last year from a heart attack.
