Dad left this morning. He was here for three days and I miss him already, Nala too. Arabella leaves in another three days too, and she's leaving me by myself, with my buddy Marco, but still, by myself.I just got back from a walk with Marco and Arabella dipped because she was having a bad headache.
So now I'm headed upstairs to her.
As soon as I open the door, I see her laying down on the bed on her stomach with her hands under two pillows. I saw her side profile -which by the way was beautiful, but she looked pissed at the world.
"Why're you mad hotshot?", I asked. I have no idea why I said hotshot, I saw it in a movie.
"Shutup.", She responds, somehow managing to sound more upset than usual.
"Are you okay?", I asked sitting on the bed beside her.
"No.", She mumbles.
"Look at you being all honest with me.", I say as I stroke her hair as best as I could.
"I'm on my period.", She finally announces.
"Period? As in the monthly thing you have that completely makes your life miserable and puts you in the worst mood ever and causes you to bleed 24/7?", I said in one breath, blinking because I'm clueless.
"Yes, Zade. My period.", Arabella said irritated.
"Let's go fight it together.", I nodded. Arabella stayed quiet in response.
"You need anything?", I asked, my tone of voice getting softer.
You mushy motherfucker.
"Yeah.", I stayed quiet for her to continue, "You."
Unexpected answer at its best because when someones mad or irritated, I'm the last person you want around.
"What'd you need?", I ask again.
"C'mere.", She said as she sat up and held her arm out.
I did and then she hit the back of my head, I really thought she was gonna kiss me.
"I really thought you'd kiss me.", I said, voicing my thoughts.
"Too bad.", She said.
Then she waited a moment before holding her hand out and grabbing my jaw so bad it hurts, and kissed my cheek way too aggressively.
"Damn mami, I know you like me and all, but express it with less aggression.", I said rubbing my chiseled jawline.
She rolled her eyes at my statement, and then turned around, and layed down.
"Go to sleep, Zade."
"Wake me up if you need anything.", I said as I layed down beside her after taking my shirt off.
