"Carlos, 30 times 17 does not equal 491.", I said, clicking my tongue.

"Yes it does.", He said as he re-did the work all wrong.

"Dumb ass, its 510.", I said.

"How the fuck-", He said as he stabbed his pencil on his paper, breaking the nip.

"I don't know, my calculator said it.", I explained.

"Well tell your calculator that it's fucking wrong.", Carlos said stubbornly as a library lady told us to quiet down for the millionth time.

"I don't think—", I started.

"Zade. Shut the fuck up before I slap you.", Carlos said , cutting me off.

"You're worse than Arabella.", I nodded.

"And you're even more annoying than Micheal!", He said. Micheal is his boyfriend.

"That's what you fucking get when you decide to talk to a child.", I said.

"You're 18 and moved out. You're an adult, Zade, grow up.", Carlos lectured me.

"Yes, dad.", I said.

"Shut up."

"Okay."

"What'd I just say?", Carlos asked, "Never mind, don't answer that."

"Fuckin bipolar motherfucker.", I cursed.

"Stop fucking swearing, you child."

"You wanna call Target and Walmart at the same time?", I asked Carlos. I've been meaning to do that for a while now.

"You, Zade, are a genius.", Carlos said, switching apps to dial Targets number.

I dialed Walmarts, and then we called at the same time and put the speakers against each other.

"Hello, this is Walmart: Save money, live better."

"Hiya, this is Target: Expect more, pay less.", they both spoke simultaneously.

Carlos and I looked at each other, both trying to hold our laugh in.

"Uhm... this is Target.", the Target lady said.

"Uh.. why'd you call us?"

"Sorry, who's this?", Target asked.

"This is Walmart: Save money, live better.", the Walmart guy said.

"Well, uhm, why'd you call us?", Target said, awkwardly.

"I didn't. I was called right now, and I answered it.", Walmart says.

"Well, we certainly didn't call you.", Target says.
