>>Hope's POV<<
I walked down the stairs to where mom was, she hands me the phone and to my surprise it was a publisher, who wanted to publish my book "The Countryside".
We talked for maybe an hour and she said she wanted to come over next week Saturday and if the interview goes well, she would publish my book.
"Who was on the phone?" Kirsten asked
"It was a book publisher, her name is Sarah Hart. She wants to meet on Saturday to interview me about my book." I said
"OH MY GOD! HOPE THAT'S AMAZING!" Vanessa and Kirsten said
"But wait how she get my book?" I asked
"You're welcome" mom said
"Mom? You did it? You sent her my book?" I asked
"Yup, it was me" Mom said
"OH MY GOD! THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM!" I shouted
My friends and I ran upstairs to pick out what I was going to wear for the interview, even though it was a week away, what's the shame in to picking out what to wear a week early right? Yeah, I have a problem...
"I think you should wear this for the interview, not quiet partyish, not quiet business, but casual." Vanessa said
"No, I think this is better" Kirsten said
"How about this?" Mom said walking up with a white dress with a nice brown belt around it with cowboy boots
"It's perfect! Exactly what I wanted! Thank you mom!" I said
"And maybe you would like to wear your grandmother's necklace?" mom asked
"Oh my goodness, are you sure I can? You sure you want me to?" I asked
"Of course, your grandmother would want you to wear it as well." Mom said
"Thank you" I said as I was giving my mom a hug
"Okay, I think its bedtime." Mom said
"But it's only 11:30" I said
"Fine, half an hour and I expect you in bed, okay. If you're going out tomorrow, you're going to want to get some rest." Mom said
"Okay half an hour, we promise" I said
Half an hour of styling each other's hair we finally went to bed.
When woke up we smelt something delicious, so we quickly got dressed but didn't brush our hair, that's for after breakfast.
We ran downstairs and mom had made pancakes, bacon, toast both French toast and regular toast; she made hash-browns, and scrambled eggs.
"Oh my goodness. Best way to wake up on a Saturday ever" I said
"Most beautiful sight I have ever seen" Kirsten said
"Am I dreaming? If I am I don't want to wake up" Vanessa said
"Well, get what you want and finish getting ready so you three could go out today" Mom said
I got what I wanted, as well as mom and my friends, we all ate together and there was nothing left. We ate all the food.
"Thank you mom! The breakfast was amazing!" I said
"Thank you Ms. Jordan, most delicious breakfast I ever had!" Kirsten said
"Thank you Ms. Jordan, that was amazing! I'm I still dreaming? If so I'm sad, I want to go back to where the food was still here." Vanessa said
"You're welcome everyone, now, you three finish getting ready, so you could head out, where were you guys going today?" mom asked
"Were going to the roller rink, its maybe like 5-10 minutes away from the mall" Kirsten said
"Okay, have fun you three, be careful" Mom said
We went upstairs to finish getting ready, when we finished we went over to the stable and saddled the horses up, when we got back to the front of the house we saw Josh, he asked if he could come along, so Kirsten and Vanessa said yeah, we sat there on our horses waiting for him to saddle his horse up and ride back over to us. When he came back we took off and started heading towards the roller rink.
"Hey Juliet" He said
"Hey Romeo, how you doing?" I asked
"Pretty good, I was just catching up on some Shakespeare, re-reading Romeo and Juliet" Josh said
"Lucky, I had a pretty interesting night last night, a book publisher called, she wants to meet to interview me, because she wants to publish a book I wrote, and if the interview goes well, my book is going to get published." I told him
"Are you serious? That's amazing! Congratulations Hope!" Josh said
"Thanks, I just hope it does get published, I worked hard on it and I've always wanted to be a writer. I wrote short stories and poems, but this was my first novel I wrote." I said
"Wow, I-I'm proud of you, I hope the interview goes amazing. The last thing I would want is to see you upset." Josh said
"Awe, thank you Josh, that means a lot" I said
"Okay Romeo and Juliet, were here" Kirsten said
"Here let me help you down" Josh said
"Thank you, Romeo" I said with a small giggle
We went inside roller skated and chatted, we ate, skated more, talked more and fell down a few times. But after maybe an hour or two we stopped and headed toward the park, which is not even a park, there's a swing set and a slide. That's all. But we were there for the scenery, there was a trail where you could either walk through or go through with your horse. I was excited to see the trail, I heard at the end of the trail there was this most beautiful area looking down at a lake.
"Well, here's the trail, you guys ready? Kirsten asked
