>>Hope's POV<<
"It's time for the auditions!" Kirsten said
"I don't feel too good..." I said
"Don't worry, you'll be fine! But just in case, here's my water" Kirsten said
"Thank you" I said
We walked to the music room and I just kept hearing them calling the next person. Finally, they call me.
"Come on, we'll go in with you" Kirsten said
Josh, Kirsten, and Vanessa followed me in.
"This is Hope, she has stage fright, so we decided to come in with her and watch her." Kirsten said
"Anytime you're ready" the teacher said (yes the judge is a teacher, don't judge)
I began the intro, and the next thing I know I'm singing my favourite song, and I hear the teacher telling me to sing louder. So I sang louder and louder. The song finally ended.
"Well, done. We will announce the people who will be in the Talent Show next block." The teacher said
"Thank you" I said
And I just walked out.
"Hope, what was that?" Kirsten asked
"That was nothing. It was just me singing, under pressure, where I was very petrified." I said
"I never knew you could sing like that! That was amazing" Kirsten said as well as Vanessa agreeing
"Josh, do you think I was good?" I asked
**Silence
"Hello?" I asked
"I. Am. Speechless." Josh said
"I was that good?" I asked
"My girlfriend can write, sing, ride a horse, loves mud, loves mudding, loves alligators, loves Shakespeare, and loves animals. What else is there that you love or can do?" Josh asked
"Nothing. There's nothing special about me. Writing and singing, not a talent, I'm terrible at that, everything I love, not a talent. I'm not special." I said
"You're special to me. I could never picture anybody better than you" Josh said smiling
"Thank you, I could never picture anybody better than you either" I said smiling
"AHEM!" Kirsten and Vanessa said
"But you guys, of course, heh" I said
"I'm going outside for a bit. I need some air" I said
"We'll come with you" Vanessa said
We all stayed outside until lunch was over. Once lunch was over we all went separate directions and went to class.
**RRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGG**
The bell went off and I ignored it since I was already in the theatre chatting to my drama friends.
"Hello class! Today I'm going to give you 10 minutes to rehearse your skits, and were going to start performing them for the class!" said the teacher
"Hey Brendon" I said
"Hey Hope, ready to rehearse? I see you're dressed for the skit!" Brendon said
"Actually this is for next block, I have dancing... but hey! It's a great costume to wear for this skit as well!" I said laughing
"Sounds fun, want to practice now?" Brendon asked
"Sure" I said
As soon as we were about to rehearse the PA gone off.
"Sorry to interrupt but it's time to announce the students who will be in the Talent Show tomorrow! And the students are......"
>>I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING! ITS A SHORTER CHAPTER! I couldnt think of anything else to put in this chapter and I did wanted to leave off on a little bit of a cliff hanger, sorry about that. but i promise i will continue tomorrow evening! love you guys <3
