>>Hope's POV<<
It's finally Saturday, time for my interview, usually when you're getting a book published the publisher you would have a meeting and discuss the ideas and what the book is about, and the ideas of it or something like that. That's what I heard anyways.
DING DONG!
"That must be the publisher... I'm scared... what if she doesn't like the book?" I asked
"She'll like the book, don't worry, we'll be in the other room, don't worry you'll be fine. If you get too nervous just think about that you sang in front of the whole entire school" Josh said
"Thanks, wish me luck" I said with a smile
I open the door said hello introduced myself and escorted her to the living-room.
"Would you like anything to drink or eat?" I asked
"No I'm okay, let's just get to the book" The publisher said
I sit down beside her and we chatted for an hour discussing about the book, and if there was anything I wanted to add or take out. Finally the interview ended.
"Well Hope, the book seems really amazing and interesting. Looks like it could be a hit" the publisher said
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I asked
"Yes, you're book is going to be published, amazing job writing it, it must've you took you months to write it!" The publisher said
Even though it took me a couple years to write the book...
The publisher left and everyone came into the living-room.
"So how did the interview go?" Kirsten asked
My face was as white as a ghost; I was shocked, excited and just super pumped up.
"MY BOOK IS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Everybody screamed, and Kirsten put music on and we danced for hours!
After maybe a couple hours of dancing we sat down and relaxed because of how tired we were from dancing.
"Hey Hope, I was wondering do you maybe want to go on a date?" Josh asked
"Today?" I asked
"Yeah, would you like too?" Josh asked again
"I'd love too" I said
So while Josh was getting his horse I went to the stable to get my horse.
We meant up with each other and started heading towards the park.
"Hope, close your eyes, I want it to be a surprise" Josh said
I closed my eyes without any questions.
When we got to the end of the trail Josh said-
"Okay, you can open your eyes now"
I open my eyes and what I saw completely shocked me, he must've gotten up very early in the morning to pull this off.
It was a picnic, there were streamers tied around the trees, a blanket with a basket in the middle of the blanket.
"Josh! What did you do?" I asked
"I might've gone just a tad over board. I just wanted to surprise you" Josh said
"Well I'm defiantly surprised" I said laughing
We both laughed for a few seconds and went over to the blanket and started eating.
There were apples, oranges, watermelon, and he even had a cooler with cans of pop.
So we sat there eating staring at each other and looking at the view of the lake for maybe an hour.
"This is amazing, nobody never done this for me, and if they did they probably would just do that to get me out here so they could push me off the cliff" I said
"Well, I'm glad I could make you feel happy about this, and if anybody would even try to do that to you, I'm going to be the one to push them off the cliff, you don't deserve to be treated like that" Josh complained.
So at the end of the date before we left he held me close and we kissed. I found it magicful. Every time I look at him I fall in love with him all over again.
So we went back home (back to my place) and we hung out with Kirsten, Vanessa and my mom. We made tons of popcorn and watched Netflix for the rest of the day until maybe 10 at night... we had nothing else to do... we were too lazy to do anything else.
