Sage was honestly so tired of dealing with Mekai. She's spent over 5 years of her life chasing him around and shes so tired of it.
She doesn't think he knows how to settle down or how to make a relationship work, he doesn't know how to communicate at all.
"Hi mommy!" MJ smiled jumping into the car.
"Hi mi amor, how was school?" She asked pulling out of the pickup line and driving over to the twins & Miracles daycare center.
"It was okay." He shrugged pulling his ipad out of the back of the seat.

"Why you said it like that? I need to fight someone?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Well this morning I asked daddy if he could come to the dads breakfast this morning and he said he had to go work, but when we left his car was still there so he lied." He sighed going on his art app. Nobody really knew, but MJ was way smarter than he acted. Instead of talking to people about his feelings, he would make drawings about it.
"I'm sorry baby, I'll make sure to talk to him and y'all can go to dinner tonight okay?" She asked glancing in the backseat. He just nodded. It wasn't the same to him.

Sage babied MJ more than Miracle, just because he was her first baby. The first person to call her mommy. No matter how old he got, that would still be her baby.
"Open the door please." Sage said as MJ unlocked the back door.
"Hi mama!" Miracle squealed jumping into the car, hugging her mom and kissing her cheek.
"Hi baby, mwah!" She smiled kissing her cheek.
"Hi mommy!" Saint and Serene said at the same time.
"Hi my babies!" She smiled kissing each of their cheeks.

"Everyone put their seat belt on please." She said glancing in the back before pulling off.
"Incoming call from Baby red heart.." Siri said over her car speakers. Rolling her eyes, she pressed answer.
"Wassup baby." Mekai smiled while Trina gave him a back massage.
"Hi bae." She sighed making a turn.
"What's wrong with you?" He chuckled, making a small groan sound.
"What are you doing?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows and taking him off speaker.

"I'm not doing anything- shit." He ended groaning under his breath as Trina rubbed his shoulders.
"Hang up!" Sage heard some girl whine in the background.
"Mekai get off my phone." Sage laughed immediately hanging up.

"Bruh get off me." Mekai groaned running his hand over his face as Trina sat on his lap, rubbing on his abs.
"You don't need her Mekai." She scoffed.
"She's my fiancée and you just my babymama." He shrugged.
"Why can't we switch places? Why did you pick her Mekai? I've been in love with you since I found out I was pregnant.. but she gets all your attention and all your time?" She tilted her head as tears filled her eyes. She wasn't trying to be one of those messy baby mamas, she was just letting her feelings be known.
"How could I love someone who literally faked my child's death?" He chuckled shaking his head.

"I messed up Mekai, and I know that. I miss you and I miss my son. I miss us being a little family.. I want you back." She sighed looking into his eyes.
"Trina." He sighed running his fingers through his hair.
"I wanna be your fiancée, I wanna carry your children Mekai! I wanna be a family with you, nobody else. We can have the big family you've always dreamed of having! I stopped doing drugs and got clean because I wanted my family back.. just give me a chance please?" She begged grabbing his hands and rubbing the back of them.
Mekai was between a rock and a hard place.
Everything Trina was saying sounded pretty promising, but his heart was forever with Sage.
"Ok." He nodded and her eyes lit up.

"You're forreal?" She asked looking directly at him.
"I'm for real, but don't go around telling people we together. I'm still engaged and I'm still supposed to be dead." He said sternly and she nodded before passionately kissing him.
"Can you let me see MJ?" She asked pulling away.
"I guess, but ima be there when you see him." He nodded.
"I understand." She nodded before cuddling up with him. Now all she had to do was make sure nobody ruined their relationship.

That night....

"Like I think someone was giving him head cause he just groaning and moaning in my ear like what kind of shit!" Sage ranted to Ashley.
"Im still stuck on the fact that his dumb ass is alive.. like huh?" She sighed shaking her head,
"I know, but Ash I need help!" She whined pulling the flat iron through her hair.
"Girl you need to talk to him. We both know he got something going on, but you gotta make him admit it. Then just kick him out, simple." She shrugged.
"Hi tete!" Kaylani smiled coming into the screen.
"Hi stinka!" She smiled waving.

"Tell your daddy you want some hungry howies." Ash said and Kaylani ran over to Jonas.
"I don't even know what to say though, like hey are you cheating? That's not gonna work." She smacked her lips and put her head scarf on.
"Well-" Ash started but Sage heard the front door shut.
"Oop here he is. I'll call you later bye bestie!" She said quickly hanging up and Mekai came into the room.
"Hey mama." He smiled kissing her.
"Hi baby." Sage said with a fake smile.

"So what'd you do today?" She asked sitting on the bed as he pulled his shirt off.
"Me and Meijai was tryna figure out who the hell sent me that letter." He shrugged.
"And that took 11 hours of your time?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"I didn't just do that, I went to the store and shit. The stuff downstairs." He chuckled walking into the bathroom. Sage grabbed his shirt and immediately smelled perfume. Obviously it wasn't hers if he hasn't been home all day.

"Oh okay.." She said softly before laying down and turning her back to Mekai.
"How would you feel if I let MJ see Trina?" He blurted out.
"I understand why, but I'm not letting him go by himself. I'm going with him." She said.
"I already told her I would come, you don't have to." He said brushing his teeth. The truth is, he didn't want Trina to say anything slick while Sage there.
"I'm going anyways." She shrugged.
