Chapter 12: Revelations: Lunar Ellipse

They all wake up and Scott says, "I saw it. I know where it is." Stiles says, "We passed it. There's--there's a stump, this huge tree. Well, it's not huge anymore. It was cut down, but it's still big, though, very big." Scott says, "It was the night we were looking for the body." Stiles says, "Yeah, the same night you were bit by Peter." Allison says, "I was there too, in the car with my mother. We almost hit someone." Scott says, "It was me. You almost hit me." Allison gasps and Scott says, "We can find it." Everyone is looking at them worriedly and Allison says, "What?" Isaac says, "You guys were out a long time." Stiles says, "How long is a long time?" Liv softly says, "16 hours." Scott says, "We've been in the water for 16 hours?" Deaton says, "And the full moon rises in less than four." After drying themselves, Stiles says, "No, dude, you are not going back with them." Scott says, "I made a deal with Deucalion." Stiles says, "Does anyone else think that sounds a lot like a deal with the devil?" Isaac says, "Why does it matter, anyway?" Scott says, "Because I still don't think that we can beat Jennifer without their help." Allison says to Deaton, "He trusts you more than anyone. Tell him he's wrong." Deaton says, "I'm not so sure he is. Circumstances like this sometimes require that you align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies." Liv thinks in her head like Peter. Isaac says, "So we're gonna trust him, the guy that calls himself death, destroyer of worlds? We're gonna trust that guy?" Deaton says, "I wouldn't trust him, no, but you can use him to your advantage. Deucalion maybe the enemy, but he could also be the bait." The door to the animal clinic opens and Ethan says, "I'm looking for Lydia." Lydia says, "What do you want?" Ethan says, "I need your help." Stiles says, "With what, exactly?" Ethan says, "Stopping my brother and Kali...from killing Derek." Liv 's with Scott, Allison, and Isaac going to Allison's to find a scent to find Chris. Scott's on the phone with Stiles, "Just grab anything. Stiles I'm not smelling your dad's boxers. Socks? Okay, I'll smell the socks." Isaac says, "What about me?" Allison says, "See what you can find in my dad's closet. Anything with the strongest scent." Allison opens the door to her dad's office with Liv behind her. Liv see's Scott's dad there and he says, "Quite an arsenal your father's got here, young lady. Hello, Alivia. Scott." Liv frowns at Scott's dad being here and Scott says, "What are you doing here?" His dad says, "Following one of the only leads I have. Now, since I don't know where you've been, why don't you have a seat, and we can talk? You too, Isaac." Isaac comes from behind the door and says, "How do you know my name?" Agent McCall says, "Your name's one of the few things I know. To be honest, the rest of what's going on around here has be stumbling in the dark, even over the smallest clue." Scott says, "If you're trying to tell me that you don't have a clue, I learned a long time ago." His dad says, "I'm really hoping to avoid the embarrassment of dragging my own son into an interrogation room. Really hoping." Everyone sits down and Agent McCall says, "I'm not gonna lie, I'm more than a little disturbed, not only by the number of missing parents, but the fact that it's your father, your father, and your mother." Scott notices Liv's uneasiness and grabs her hand to rub it. Agent McCall watches how his son grabs the young Stilinski's hand to reassure her. Too easy the situation, Isaac says, "Mine are both dead." Liv slightly shakes her head at Isaac and Agent McCall says, "Save the cliched teenage apathy for your high school teachers. The four of you know more than you're saying, and I'm fully willing to keep you here all night if I have to." Scott rolls his eyes and Liv says, "You can't keep us here." Allison says, "Yeah, not without some kind of warrant." Agent McCall says, "I've got a desk full of probable cause." Allison gets up and says, "My father is a highly respected private security consultant and federally licensed firearms dealer. That means he has to own a few weapons. Like this 175-pound draw tactical crossbow or this carbon steel marine combat knife, .50AE desert eagle. Hmm. Smoke grenade with pull ring igniter." Allison pulls the grenade and everyone runs with Agent McCall calling after Scott. Liv, Isaac, Scott and Allison arrive at Beacon Hills Preserve. Liv says to Scott, "Are you okay?" Scott says, "I didn't know what to say to him. I couldn't come up with anything, Allison what you did was awesome." Isaac says, "I still haven't gotten anything from Stiles--you?" Scott says, "I don't get it." Liv's getting a little worried about Stiles and Isaac says, "All right. Well, we can't wait for him. Come on." They all walk to the lookout point and Deucalion says, "Cutting it a little close, aren't we, Scott?" Scott says, "We got a little delayed. Where are the others?" Deucalion says, "Occupying themselves with other pursuits." Scott says, "So it's just you and me against her?" Deucalion says, "I think you'll be surprised what a good team we make." Scott says, "Okay, get Stiles, and the get to the root cellar, okay? We'll keep Jennifer away long enough for you to get them out of there." Isaac says, "How are you gonna do that?" Scott says, "I have a plan." Later, Isaac says, "Are you sure we're going the right direction?" Allison says, "I know we're near it. You think you can catch a scent?" Isaac says, "I'm trying, but I c--I hear something. It's an--it's an emitter. It's one of your dad's." Liv says, "Are you sure?" Isaac says, "Has to be. Come on." They found the Nemeton and Isaac says, "Liv. Allison." They all run to the root cellar door and go through it. Liv runs to her dad and says, "Oh my god. Your okay." Liv hugs her dad tight. Allison says, "Thank god!" Chris says, "You found us." Liv's dad says, "I'm okay, uh, where's Stiles?" Melissa says, "Where's Scott?" Isaac says, "They're coming, all right? They're on their way to help." Melissa says, "Okay." The ground above starts shaking and the dirt starts coming down. Liv's dad says, "Come on, let's get out of here." Melissa screams when the stairs come down. Everyone backs away and Chris says, "It's blocked." Liv says, "What do you see?" Liv's dad says, "Anything?" Isaac says, "Nothing." The ground above starts coming down and Chris says, "Look out." Everyone gasps and Liv shouts, "Isaac!" Liv's dad says, "Melissa, go, go, go." Isaac tires to hold the beam up and says, "Is it me, or is this place getting smaller? I can't do it. I can't hold it. I can't hold it." Everyone helps Isaac hold the beam and Liv struggles out, "It's too much. It's too heavy." Stiles saves the day with his metal baseball bat and their dad says, "I always said aluminum was better than wood." Stiles then hugs his dad. The storm stops and Allison softly says, "Is it over?" Liv thinks for now it is and the Liv, Stiles, and their dad group hug. Scott calls Stiles and Stiles says, "Scott?" Scott says, "Hey, are you okay?" Stiles looks around and says, "Yeah, we're okay. We're all okay. How about you, you okay?" Scott looks at Derek and says, "Sort of." Stiles says, "You think you can come get us?" Scott says, "Yeah, of course." Stiles says, "Great, okay. Um, uh bring a ladder." Everyone starts laughing.

The next day, Liv's at the loft. Liv says to Cora, "I'm really gonna miss you." Cora smiles and says, "Me too. You know you could always come visit me." Liv smiles and says, "I think I might take you on your offer." Liv and Cora hug tight. Cora walks out the door, Liv then turns to Derek and says, "Are you gonna ever come back?" Derek softly smiles and say, "I don't know." Liv says, "You know Beacon Hills isn't Beacon Hills without Derek Hale." Derek softly laughs and says, "This isn't goodbye. Will see each other soon." Liv says, "Okay." Liv gives Derek a goodbye hug. Later, Scott goes to Liv's. Scott goes to her room to find her on her bed doing homework with his flannel on. Scott softly says, "Hey." Liv looks up and smiles at Scott and says, "Hey." Scott goes to sit on her bed and Liv gets up to put her homework away. Scott says, "Do you think Derek's ever gonna come back?" Liv says, "I hope so." Liv goes to sit on Scott's lap and wraps her arms around Scott's neck. Scott wraps his arms around Liv's waist. Scott softly kisses Liv and Liv kisses back. Scott slips his tongue in her mouth to explore it. Scott leans back on Liv's bed with Liv still in his lap. Scott starts kissing her neck and removes his flannel from her body. Liv takes Scott's shirt off and continues making out with him. Scott pulls away and admires Liv and says, "I love you." Liv softly smiles and says, "I love you, too." Scott takes off his pants and Liv takes off her shirt and shorts and they cuddle in her bed with occasional kisses here and there. The following day at school, Liv and Stiles meet up with Scott in the hallway. Liv puts her hand in Scott's and he smiles brightly and lovingly down at her. They all walk the halls of the school together.
