Always There {3}

Chapter 22: De-Void

At the loft, Allison says, "Stop, stop it! This is what he wants. This exactly what he wants." Void Stiles says, "Not exactly. I was kind of hoping Liv would be here, but I'm glad you all have your guns out. Because you're not here to kill me. You're here to protect me." Later, Liv and Kira arrive at the loft and hear gun shots. They enter the loft and Liv says, "What happened?" Allison says, "They disappeared. They literally just vanished." Her dad says, "And so did Stiles." Later at Liv's, Liv and Kira walk into her room and Kira says, "Thanks for letting me stay. I just didn't want to go home yet. I feel like I don't even know them anymore." Liv says, "I get it, it's going be hard to trust them again, but their still your family. Uh, I've got a T-shirt and comfy pants, if you wants." Kira  nods and says, "I'm okay." Liv grabs comfy pants and goes to the bathroom to change. Liv takes off her leather jacket and pants. She puts on the comfy PJ pants and leaves her tank top on. Liv leaves the bathroom and says, "You can take the bed." Kira nods and says, "Can you be next to me?" Liv says, "Do you want me too?" Kira nods and Liv smiles and says, "Okay." They both get under the blanket and lay side by side facing each other. Liv whispers, "Are you okay?" Kira nods and she looks at Liv's crestfallen face and whispers, "We're going to save him. We'll figure it out." Liv nods and then they both fall asleep. 

The next day at Scott's, Scott and Aiden carry Void Stiles and Scott says, "Put him on the couch." Melissa says, "Guys, this is crazy. He needs to be in a hospital." Scott says, "Mom, remember what happened last time he went to the hospital?" Deaton says, "It doesn't look like he's bleeding. I think he might even be healing." Aiden says, "You mean like we heal?" Liv says, "That's good, right?" Deaton says, "For him, yes. Us? I'm not so sure." Aiden says, "Well if were not going to kill him, why aren't we at least tying him down with big chains?" Deaton says, "I might have something more effective." Scott and Aiden hold him down and then Deaton puts a few drops of liquid in his mouth. Void Stiles wakes up and grabs Aiden's neck and Aiden says, "Get him off me! Get him off me!" Then he lets go of his neck and Void Stiles says, "Kanima venom. Nice touch. You know how they say twins get a feeling when the other one's in pain? You didn't lose that talent, too, did you? Oh, I hope not. You're going to need it. Okay, I'll give a little hint. Ethan's at the school." Aiden looks at Liv and she says, "Go. Will be fine." Aiden nods and then leaves. Void Stiles laughs and says, "Oh, I hope he gets there in time. I like the twins. Short tempers. Homicidal compulsions. They're a lot more fun than you bakemono trying to save the world everyday." Liv says, "Deaton, you brought something to paralyze his body. You got something for his mouth?" Deaton says, "Yes, I do." Deaton then tapes his mouth. Later in the kitchen, Scott says, "How much longer do you think we have?" Deaton says, "I wish I knew, but if we don't figure it out something soon, we're going to need to find a better place to keep him. I think we're grossly underestimating the danger here. He might be paralyzed, but it still feels like he's us right in the palm of his hand." Liv says, "But the scroll said to change his body." Deaton says, "That's if I translated it correctly. We're looking for a cure in something that might actually be nothing more than a proverb or a metaphor." Scott says, "And what if he doesn't want it? He's never asked to be a werewolf." Lydia says, "What if it saves his life?" Liv says, "What if it kills him?" Scott nods his head at Liv and says, "Yeah and I've never done this before. I mean, what if I bite him and accidentally hit an artery or something." Deaton says, "The venom is not going to last long. Something needs to be done sooner than later." Scott says, "I can try calling Derek again." Lydia says, "Maybe we should call someone else."  Later, the doorbell rings and Peter walks in and says, "He doesn't look like he would survive a slap across the face, much less the bite of a werewolf." Scott says, "You don't think it would work?" Peter says, "This is more a war of mind than the body. There are better methods to winning this battle." Deaton says, "What kind of methods?" Peter says, "We're going to get in his head." Deaton says, "So, do you have a plan?" Peter says, Scott is going to try and dig through pale and sickly Evil Stiles mind to unearth pale and sickly Real Stiles. Then guide him back from the depths of his own subconscious, but he's not going to do it alone." Peter looks at Liv and says, "Somebody needs to go with you." Liv then goes to sit next to Void Stiles and Scott gets his claws ready. Scott says, "So what do we do if we find him?" Peter says, "You're going to have to guide him out somehow. Try to give him back control of his mind, his body." Liv says, "Could you elaborate on the "somehow"? It's not feeling very specific at the moment." Peter says, "Improvise." Scott says, "What if this is just another trick?" Peter says, "When are you people going to start trusting me?" Liv says, "He meant him." Peter says, "Oh." Deaton says, "Scott, we're running out of time." Scott then sinks his claws into both of them. Liv wakes up with a gasp and notices their both strapped on a bed. Liv looks at Scott and says, "Do you actually need me to remind you that you're a werewolf?" Scott says, "We're in Stiles head." Liv says, "And your a supernatural creature with supernatural strength. Break free." Scott then breaks free and the breaks Liv free. Scott says, "What now?" Liv says, "I don't know. This is my first time in someone else's head." Scott says, "Just stay behind me." They then get separated and Liv bangs on the door and says, "Scott? Scott!" Liv then turns around notices dirt in the room, so she keep walking and finds her self outside near the Nemeton. Liv notices their are dead bodies on and surrounding the Nemeton. Liv takes a closer look and softly gasps when she notices it's her family and friends. They bodies are battered and bloody. Liv cries, "No, no, no!" Liv hears heavy breathing and turns around to see the Nogitsune looking at her. As The Nogitsune is walking toward her Liv runs away. Meanwhile with Scott, he's in a closet with Allison making out. Allison whispers, "Shh, we got to be quite." Scott whispers, "I thought I heard something." Allison whispers, "It's okay. You're with me. Everything's fine. We just have to be quiet. Really quiet." Allison and Scott continue kissing. Back with Liv, as she's running away she hears Peter screaming her name. Back with Scott, Scott whispers, "Why are we in your closet?" Allison whispers, "We're hiding." Scott whispers, "From who, your dad?" Allison whispers, "Don't worry about it." Scott whispers, "Doesn't your dad know we're together?" Allison whispers, "Shh, It's okay. Don't worry." As Allison continues to kiss Scott, Scott realizes something and says, "Hold on. Allison we're not together. I'm dating Liv." Allison says, "What? What do you mean?" Scott says, "We're not together anymore. This is wrong. This is a trick. It's a trick." Scott then hears Peter scream Liv. Liv runs to her house and opens the door to find her in a all white room. Scott runs and finds a frightened Liv and they both look to see the real Stiles and the Nogitsune. They run to him, but the more they run the more far away he is. They both yell, "Stiles!" Liv yells, "Stiles! Stiles, over here!" They try to run again, but they get nowhere. Liv huffs and says, "Stiles is part of your pack." Scott says, "What? What do you mean?" Liv says, "He's human, but he's still part of the pack, right?" Scott says, "Yeah, of course." Liv says, "So how do wolves signal their location to the rest of the pack?" Scott transforms and says, "They howl." Scott howls and the the Nogitsune roars. Scott and Liv gasp awake. Scott says, "Did it work? Did it work?" Liv wipes the blood off her nose and says, "What happened?" Lydia says, "Why didn't it work?" Void Stiles then gasps awake and starts taking cloth out of his mouth and then the real Stiles comes out. Stiles says, "Scott? Liv?" Deaton says, "Scott, Liv." Scott and Liv look towards the front door and notice no Lydia or Void Stiles. Scott says, "Where are they? Where are they?" Liv goes outside and yells, "Lydia! Lydia! Lydia!"
