(Erin was in the bedroom folding laundry after she grabbed the dry clothes from the laundry room, putting herself to work while Jay was out shopping for food for the apartment. They were finally able to move back into Jays original apartment, both making sure that the other was comfortable moving back in to the place someone died in, both assuring each other they were past it)(Truthfully they were past it all. After everything that they have been through, they were glad to say their relationship became stronger over the course of two weeks because of their love for one another. They completed each other in ways they never thought were needed, and they loved each other so much, making up for times where they never felt loved at all)
(It still blew Erin's mind, that the life she was living was hers. The amazing fiancé, amazing family at the district, the love between her and the man who would lay his own life down for her...it was Euphoric at some points, but she will forever be grateful)
—————————————(She turned her head when she heard the beeping of the lock unlocking to the apartment, letting herself know that he was home. She finished folding the laundry and placed all of the clothes where the resonated, grabbing the basket and making her way out of the bedroom and pausing with a smile on her face when she saw him standing in the kitchen placing a bouquet of red roses in a vase)
E<"hey,(she said, placing the basket on the floor before making her way over towards the kitchen. She smiled when he stepped out from the counter, vase in hand, and presented her with them),these for me"?
J<"of course they are, who else would I come home to with flowers"(he smiled, turning and grabbing a rose that broke off, off the counter, turning and facing her and sliding the rose into her hair)
E<"well they're beautiful,(she said, gently placing them in the center of the dinner table, turning her body back to him and running her hands up his chest before they wrapped around his neck and her fingers interlocked),thank you"
J<"anything for you"(he smiled, giving her a quick kiss)
E<"I folded the laundry, did the rest of the dishes, dusted and vacuumed the new rugs so that they laid flat"
J<"Erin, I told you I didn't want you doing any of that"(he sighed, pulling away and laying his hands on her hips)
E<"I know you didn't, but you can't expect me to sit back and do absolutely nothing"
J<"you wouldn't be doing nothing, you'd be sitting back all pretty and relaxing"
E<"Jay, I need to work"
J<"I don't want you going back to Molly's, babe. Knowing Herman for a while now, I would've never thought he'd allow you to get dragged away like that"
E<"babe,(she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her),it's in the past, so please keep it there! Was what he did wrong? Yes, was it fair, no...did he make a mistake, yes...but so do we"!
J<"I'm not discussing this any further, Erin"(he said, backing away and turning around)
E<"I'm going to work today...and you may not like it, but I am. You can't keep me locked inside your apartment forever, and I love you so much for it...but you can't also protect me from everything"
J<"yes I can"!
E<"Jay,(she walked up to him, resting her hand on his chest),you cant. And I'm not doubting your strength, but no one can protect anyone from everything, no matter how much they love you. Now I am going into work today, and if I don't feel comfortable by the end of my shift, then I won't go back...I promise"
