Chapter 42: Paperwork

Me and captain Levi are now at his office

Doing a pile of paperworks

His at the desk signing the papers

I'm also helping him sign the papers

I know how to use his own signature but I only use it whenever his around

We have been working day and night at this large pile

We've only finished a half of it

I stood up

"Levi would you like a cup of tea" I asked him

"Of course" he replied not even sparing a glance at me

I went to the door and exited

I went on my way to the kitchen

I took the kettle and started boiling water

When it started whistling

I closed the fire on the stove

I pour the water on Levi's favorite tea cup

I took a teabag and dip it on the cup

I waited for the water to absorb the flavor of the tea leaves

When the water turned into the right color I took out the teabag and tossed it into the trash

I took a small tray and placed the teacup

I went on my way to the his office with his tea

I gently opened the door and saw him busy doing his paperworks

I place his tea on the table

He then shifted his gaze at me

I smiled warmly at him

He took his cup with his own style

Instead of grabbing the handle

He takes the top of the teacup

I'm always amused of how he holds his cup

He gently sipped his tea

I carefully stared at his feature if he showed any kind of dislike at the flavor of the tea

But he immediately gulped the tea with one sip

I started to panic that he might burned his tongue in the process

So I was about to fetch some water

When captain Levi grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him

I'm now sitting on his lap

I blushed at our current position he then wrapped his arms around my waist

"Captain" I called out for him

"stay still" he ordered

I comply to his orders and did not move an inch

He then peck my cheek

My face immediately turned red at the contacts

I saw him smirk at my peripheral vision

He then kissed my lips it was warm

I couldn't stop being flustered despite how many times I kiss him

"Your still not used to it?" he asked

I shook my head

"Ahw my innocent lady" he teased me

I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment
