We could hear the titans fighting above us. While they were fighting Onyakopon was holding the keys and started to open the cell for us
"Onyakopon what is going outside?!" Jean asked him
"The marleyan army is attacking from the sky using airships about 500 soldiers along with the armored, jaw and cart titan. Eren's taking all of them by himself" he explained
"He is fighting hard but he can't fight, Marley will surely destroy him. Please your our only hope, let's work together" he said he then opened our cell
Connie immediately took his collar and hit Onyakopon's back at the wall
"You can't be serious?! Fight together? After what you have done!! This is 'Your Battle'!! We don't take orders from you!" Connie yelled full of hate in his eyes
"I'm sorry but when I disobey Yelena my head would be blown off" he replied
"Huh your the one who is acting all nice to us while you were plotting something to destroy us with wine!!" Connie said
"You know what I'm tired of being betrayed!! By Annie! Reiner! Berthold! And Eren. I'm sick and tired of it. Why? Should we help Eren just so none of us could have kids!!" he continued
"Connie let's hear him out" I ordered he let him go
"I never knew about her plan. We came her for the future of Eldia and that was only possible because we believed this island has a future. Children are the future!! If the euthanasia plan works! All of the efforts would be wasted!! Please believe me!!" Onyakopon pleaded
"I believe you so stop sulking like a brat" I hissed
"Me too, I remember what you said before all of us exist for a cause of something even the subject of Ymir. The more kinds the more interesting the world is right? You showed we that your philosophy is opposite of Zeke's. That who you are" Armin said and lend him a hand
"I believe you too but what now?" Jean asked
They shifted their gaze at me
"Helping Zeke and Eren would continue the Euthanasia plan so wtf" I stated I remembered they were kids here so I bit my tongue
"We could stop the plan but without those two. It would be hard to defend the island from the world" Onyakopon replied
"Then what do you think we should do?" Connie asked
"Show the world the piece of the rumbling at least one time"
"What do you think Mikasa? Do you want to save Eren?" Armin asked her
"I do I think it because I'm an Ackerman this isn't my own will" she replied
"It's just a lie that Eren came up with" Armin said
"He asked me about headaches sometimes.... I do. What makes you think it's a lie? Rei have you ever had headaches before feeling the power?" she asked
I remembered in my memories that I used to have headaches after awakening my Ackerman strength
"What about it?" I asked
"We have headaches because of the blood running in our veins. The person who was the reason of our awakening would be mistaken as the host so we mostly act against our will for them" she explained
My eyes widen hearing her explanation. I clenched my head
Is that the reason I feel fond of him? Is that why I fell in love with him? But it feels so genuine but I ruined our relationship? Did I do it against my will? Did I broke the curse?
