When word had gotten out what Marlene had done, most of the student body looked at her with pity. They all knew Marlene had a problem with her but they didn't think she would go so far to hurt Althea, clearly they had been wrong. People had offered their sympathies and well wishes but stayed away for the most part because anyone that came close to her, had to deal with her brother or boyfriend.
The Marauders, however, had a different idea.
"This is all your fault. You did this."
Althea rolled her eyes before looking at Sirius, "It is not my fault your crazy girlfriend had a problem with me. I did nothing to her and she chose to come for me. I am not the bad guy here, she tried to kill me. She knew what she was doing so piss off and leave me alone." She wanted absolutely nothing to do with him, she had obviously made that clear but he was not understanding that. He had hurt her enough.
"Just because you're jealous, doesn't mean you make up lies to ruin someone's life. I don't understand why I ever went out with you." Sirius spat.
Althea shook her head, "I could say the same about you. I actually thought you were a good guy. Someone that knew what it was like to be misunderstood, someone that didn't want to stay in the box people put them in or someone that just wanted a better life. You don't get to say shit about me because you clearly don't know me, not anymore. I'm not the weak girl you thought you could manipulate, I'm not naive anymore. You don't know me so piss off and find someone else to harass." She was proud of herself for finally standing up to him. He had broken her down so much for so long and she was not about to let that happen again. She was stronger than that, she survived and she wanted nothing to do with him.
Sirius glared at her, "You know nothing."
"We both know I do and soon so will you. You will soon realise the damage you have caused, not only to me but to others around you. You have been hurt for so long that its the only way you know how to treat people. I pray that you change, I pray that you learn to be better and I pray that you learn to love." Althea spoke. He had hurt too many people and he just did not understand the damage of his words, she just prayed that no one else got hurt because of him anymore.
"You say that like you know me."
"You have no idea how well I know you."

"I could kill him, if you'd like?"
During her relationship with Sirius, she had gotten close to Regulus. The two had more in common than they thought and became quick friends. No one really understood their relationship but they always had a mutual understanding and were able to vent to each other about what they were going through without any prejudice or judgement and they didn't care what anyone thought of their relationship.
Althea rolled her eyes, "As much as I would like you to, I can take care of myself. He's an idiot and I'm done being his punching bag. I know life has been crap for him but that doesn't mean he gets to treat people the way he wants to. Marlene almost killed me but he's angry at me? It's ridiculous. He should understand that there is consequences to a person's action. The Ministry wasn't going to let her stay considering she tried to kill another student. I mean, what the hell is he thinking getting mad at me?"
"I get it. He's an idiot. He doesn't care who he hurts, to Sirius it's all about him. I know he's my brother but honestly, how stupid can he be? He has no right to get mad at you for telling the truth. It's not your fault that his girlfriend turned out to be a psycho." Regulus smirked as Althea started laughing.
"You're an idiot."
Regulus scoffed, "Yeah but you love me."
"Unfortunately. How are you doing? I feel like it's been a while since we've had a proper conversation." Althea asked. He had visited her while she was in the hospital but he still had class and she had a lot of people that visited her so visiting time was limited.
Regulus sighed, "It's not been easy. I mean I know what they want from me and my exit plan is coming together but I'm worried that they will make me get the mark before I can. Classes are fine, I'm not worried, besides I've got you to help me if needed. As far as my House is concerned, they know to stay away and I've got a few trusted people." If he was honest, Althea had been the only person that he really trusted. In fact, she had been helping with an exit plan to get away from all the Darkness that his parents wanted him to be a part of.
"You know no matter what happens, I'm here for you."
