3rd person's POV:

"I'm worried for the hyungs," the youngest in the room said as all three of them were cuddled up together.

"Me too..  Whatever happened in that room clearly didn't go too well," Taehyun added.

"Do you think we should go, check on them?" Beomgyu announced when all three heard the 'ding' sound come from his phone.

"Something happened, and it's serious. Yeonjun-hyung is not coming back." the oldest maknae said, still not looking up from his phone.

"Did he say why??" Hueningkai asked, to which Beomgyu shook his head, humming "no".

"And Soobin-hyung just ran out like that when it's pouring outside. He might get sick!" Taehyun was worried and decided to text his older friend.

"He said he's not coming home."

"WHAT?!" Beomgyu and Kai exclaimed after Taehyun read the reply he got from Soobin.

"IN THIS RAIN?!" Hueningkai continued yelling.

"He's not with Yeonjun-hyung either. What's going on...."

That was the last message that was sent in the chat

"He left me on 'read'."

"Soobin-hyung needs a place to stay. He can't roam around outside like that! What the hell is going on?!" the older started yelling. He hated not having answers. And he was especially worried about his friends. Soobin being one of them.

"Hyung, give him time to cool off. Soobin-hyung... is usually calm and collected. I've never seen him act like that. He never showed any other side except for the 'supporting brother' one. It was usually me who would rant to him, and he would just listen to me." Taehyun explained. "I just feel like he needs some time to himself and to figure things out on his own."

"You've known him for longer than any of us here. The one why should know is you." Beomgyu said in a calmer voice, to which Taehyun nodded.

'I'm still worried. He never acted like this. For the first time... I don't know what's on his mind...'

Yeonjun arrived home, looking exhausted. Mentally exhausted. And his condition wasn't convincing the opposite. He was soaked wet. His hair was sticking to his face as the water kept dripping down his cheeks and nose, on the floor. His eyes were red. He had a runny nose and was shaking from being cold.

His parents weren't anywhere around, probably in their room, so Yeonjun calmly made his way into his room, shutting it, and locking it.

"What is the point of falling in love, if in the end, you're only going to get hurt? "

The next day, Yeonjun was acting as if yesterday never happened, not realizing that he's been hurting himself even more by holding his emotions in. Beomgyu came over but whenever he tried asking about yesterday, Yeonjun would either ignore the question or change the subject.

Beomgyu let it slide once. Twice. Again. And again. Yeonjun didn't want to answer the question no matter how hard the younger tried.

"Hyung. This is going off-limits. I've been worried for you yesterday, and now I'm concerned even more with the way you're acting! What happened?"

Beomgyu said it with a serious tone, which was quite rare in his consensual-bullying-friendship with Yeonjun.

The older stared blankly at the boy who was hoping to finally get the answer. After a sigh escaped the blonde's lips, he said straight up,

"We broke up."

After hearing what Yeonjun said, Beomgyu thought he heard wrong.

"What-?!"

"He broke up with me," Yeonjun said again, with no emotion.

"What?! Why?! What happened?!"

Yeonjun hesitated.

"Hyung-!"

"He cheated on me, alright?! Does the answer satisfy you?? Is that what you wanted to hear?!"

As the younger heard the answer, he suddenly felt a wave of rage and anger overflow him.

"What." he said bluntly, his blood boiling.

"Calm down, Beomgyu. It's not worth it." the older said, not looking Beomgyu in the eyes. "It was his choice. Maybe I was not enough."

'He's hurt,'  Beomgyu thought.

"I'm gonna-"

"Beomgyu. Don't." Yeonjun tried.

"He hurt you!! Look at yourself! We both know how much you loved him! Now you're blaming yourself! Why are you stopping me?!"

"Would you want me to hurt Taehyun if he hurt you while you were still in love with him?" the blonde interrupted the younger's explosion that was ready to kill anybody on his way.

"Don't stop me, hyung." Beomgyu simply said and stormed out of the room.

"Beomgyu!"

The door shut. Yeonjun sighed heavily but did not go after the younger.

Beomgyu walked out of his friend's house to see a familiar figure walk out of the house across Yeonjun's. He realized it was Soobin.

"Soobin-hyung is Yeonjun-hyung's neighbor?!" Beomgyu talked to himself.

"Stop right there." he reached the older and called out to him.
