Chapter 30: As the time past

3rd person's POV:

Beomgyu and Taehyun were on a date sitting in a small cafe, enjoying the coffee along with the small desert each of them got. Eventually, the two got to the point, where they started talking about their hyungs' break up.

Beomgyu, casually being his bubbly self, did not quite think much before he started complaining about how much of an "idiot" Soobin was.

"Stop it," Taehyun said as he started to get annoyed with how Beomgyu talked about his best friend.

"What do you mean 'stop it'?!" Beomgyu exclaimed, slightly irritated.

"Just stop." the younger said bluntly. "You can't speak that of my friend just because he broke up with yours."

"Are you being serious right now? I get that that Soobin-hyung is your friend but-- wait... Oh." the boy paused and leaned back in the chair, then said calmly. "So you don't know."

"Don't know what?" the red-haired asked. Another pause of silence was held between the two as Beomgyu thought if he should tell the reason why the two broke up.

"Soobin-hyung cheated," he said, letting out a sigh in the process, putting Taehyun into a shocking state, as the silence was now deadly placed between them again.

"I don't believe you." the younger said.

Beomgyu thought he heard wrong.

"What-?"

"I don't believe you. He would never do something like that."

"Are you-- Taehyun, he-- my best friend is fucking HEARTBROKEN BECAUSE OF HIM!" Beomgyu yelled.

"I get that. And I'm sorry! But I know Soobin-hyung. He would never do something like that! He must've had a reason!" Taehyun tried defending his friend, even though he was unsure himself.

"REASON?! REASON FOR CHEATING??!! WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT?! What kind of a reason can there be?"

"Well...." the younger tried thinking. He tried to think of a reason not only to tell Beomgyu but to also convince and relieve himself that his friend is not who Beomgyu claims to say he is.

"You can't find the reason. There can't be a reason. You don't know the reason, Taehyun. He never told you. You never even knew why they broke up until I told you-"

"Soobin-hyung is not a cheater!!!"

"Well then, go ask him yourself! For your own confirmation."

Neither knew what to say anymore. Taehyun wasn't going to believe his friend could've cheated, while Beomgyu was being protective over Yeonjun and was worried.

The two were stuck in between their friends' relationship and each of them took their friend's side.

"Look, we don't know what happened between hyungs. We weren't there to witness it. I haven't heard any of their sides of the situation, I found out from you, so I can't even judge, and you found out from Yeonjun-hyung, I'm pretty sure. This is just getting nowhere, at this point." the younger boy spoke up and Beomgyu agreed, as both of them calmed down.

"Right. Their relationship should not affect ours."

Taehyun gave Beomgyu a goodbye kiss as the two were about to spilt their ways, when the older brought him even closer by the waist, as he lustfully and passionately connected his lips with Taehyun's in a heated act.

"Mm... You have to go, the bus is gonna arrive soon..." the shorter said breathlessly slightly pushing Beomgyu away.

"Next time, you're coming to my place. I wanna be able to kiss you all over and hear you more clearly." the older said, lustful gaze not leaving him.

Taehyun chuckled. "Dream on. I will make you scream instead."

"I like your determination, baby~" smirk was placed on Beomgyu's face widely as he eyed the boy in front of him and then quickly pecked his nose.

"Hm. Don't worry, I'll prove it to you." Taehyun smirked back and just in time, the bus came.

"Next time. You and me. This bus. Together. My house." the older mentioned again before leaving.

Taehyun sat on the bench at the bus stop, while he waited for his bus to come.

Days passed by. Both Yeonjun and Soobin had taken enough time to move on. Both did understand that they don't want to break off their relationship just because their romantic relationship didn't work out. They enjoyed each other's company even before they started dating. Besides, both of them realized that they were in an uncomfortable position between Taehyun and Beomgyu. So the two decided to keep being friends in order to keep the relationship of the youngers strong, forgetting the fact that they used to date.

Yeonjun thought he should be fine.

It was harder than he thought. He was hurting at first but the more time he spent with Soobin, the easier it felt to see him as a friend.

On the contrary, Soobin felt guilty and shameful.

"Soobin-ah, is that foundation again? Are your bruises not getting better?" the oldest asked as he observed the younger boy's hands as the two were sitting in a hug.

"They're getting better, hyung."

"Are you sure you don't want to live with me for some time?"

The younger shook his head.

"I will be fine. You don't have to worry about me, hyung."

"But you know I do." Yeonjun stroked the younger's hair as his other hand was resting on Soobin's chest. "Soobin..." he called out and gathered the boy's attention.

"Hm?"

Yeonjun paused.

"Nevermind."

"Do you think it was a good idea to leave Yeonjun-hyung and Soobin-hyung alone?"

"They need their time alone. They won't do anything since both of them moved on. We've stayed friends and been hanging out enough." Taehyun answered to Hueningkai's concern as the two were talking.

"Right."

"Listen, you're literally surrounded by couples' drama while being single yourself. Have you found someone yet??" the older of the two joked to which Hueningkai laughed.

"Ha, no. Do you really think I wouldn't tell you if I had gotten in a relationship??"

"I guess that's a 'no'?"

"Taehyun, you know I don't keep my feelings a secret. And I do still have feelings for you," the boy admitted, making Taehyun slightly blush.

"Hueningkai..."

"I know. You don't have to explain. You are with Beomgyu-hyung, and you two are happy, so I won't get in the way-"

"Let me finish." the shorter said and started getting closer to the younger.

"Taehyun-- Hyung, what are you doing??"

"Hueningkai... Beomgyu-hyung and I had been talking... And I wanna test something."
