from the truthful heart flows my love
with the grace of the pen,
letting it slide out onto the open pages
of my notebook which no one has seen
by the bedside, thinking of you
being the passage of the voice in my heart,
whispering the depths of admiration
and immense care i have for you,
words that silence my mouth
as i start to shiver when the thoughts
of confessing my feelings crosses my mind
the pen is mightier
than the sharpest of swords
as words can impact a person
more than battles can ever do,
you'll be able to see my heart bleeding
through the thickness of terror
as i'll know maybe one day you might
read the few poems i've put together...
and how you might feel about me too
waking up in the earliest dawn
as i scribble a couple words
to make myself blush when i'm writing,
as the thought of you rushes into my mind
the thought of you encompasses me
into a world of dreamland,
a world where dreams come true
and happiness pursues
from dusk till dawn, i'll be thinking of you
tasting my own tears drop,
dripping along the side of my face
as i start to think of moments, me and you
but as i control myself,
taking a few minutes to breathe,
i realise something, it's not moments i want
i want to live my life just as we all should
being with someone i care about
no matter the circumstances,
no matter what society says,
no matter in the world,
there is no one who comes even close to you
