to truly understand me,
for you were the opening line that set the entire story in motion,
engraved within my heart,
where every prayer mentions your name,
how can i truly call this heart of mine,
when all it talks to God about is you,
so, with each prayer,
a sliver of peace finds its way in
with hope we will be reunited in the same way we found each other.
