do not even blink an eye,
when i say i want a daughter like you,
from your heart to your stubbornness,
and most of all your attitude,
the way you laugh, cry and more,
from the hot heated temperament you get
to where you go cold,
for every reaction i get out of you,
to where you hug me tight,
where my heart weeps of this closeness,
and my soul feels right,
i ask once again,
can we have a mini you,
so that if you ever leave this world
before i ever do,
i can look at our daughter,
and all those memories of us,
will come rushing through.
