Roses and Flame

Chapter 8

The day flew by and I knew I had to say goodbye to Tyson if I wanted to catch the last bus to home. I only didn't know how to tell him that. We were having so much fun and I just wanted to keep hanging out with him.

"So.." I said knowing that I don't have a lot of time before I have to go.

"Yeah?" he said checking the time on his phone, "Woah, it's almost 11 pm already, time flies when I'm with you," he said, then quickly add, "in a good way though."

And we smiled at each other but I knew I had to tell him about my last bus...

"Right, so, umm, I don't really want to end this, but, gentleman as I am, I must say I had a lovely time with you today. Thank you for that" he said, smiling at me.

"Oh, thank you for making my day today 100 times better than I thought it could be".

"Can I still walk you home?" he said, unsure about my reaction.

"Well, I have to catch the last bus if I want to make home," I said.

"Show me the way to your bus stop, so I know you get to the bus safely."

"Okay, let's go that way," I said leading him in direction of my bus stop.

Even if we didn't talk during the walk, it still felt nice, especially my hand in his. I wish I do have another chance to meet him cause even 10 hours still wasn't enough.

We reached the bus stop and waited there. After a moment he said "screw it" and begin to kiss me. Oh my. That did feel nice. We stopped only just before the bus stopped.

"We'll keep in touch and meet again, right?" he asked.

"Yeah and thank you again for today!" I said just before getting on the bus. We waved at each other when I took a seat and then I couldn't see anymore through the window.

I was replaying today in my mind that I almost didn't notice my phone vibrating signalling an incoming call. When I took my phone out I saw that it's Tyson.

When I answered he asked, "Did you miss me?"
