Everything was perfect. He was perfect. I didn't know what the future holds for us but I just want to spend as much time with him as possible. And we did. It has already been one month since he took me to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. That night was pure magic. I don't have any other words to describe it.

Tyson showered me with gifts and never failed to show how much he cared about me. He even bought me a car so I don't need to take the bus all the time. I knew our time spending almost every hour of the day together because Tyson told me he would need to go on a business trip for a while. It was a lot to process because it felt like I was addicted to him, I guess that happens when you fall head over heels in love with someone.

I have to admit, I sometimes dreamed about what would our future hold for us - the happily ever after but I could never admit that to him. I wasn't sure if that was what he wanted.

It was 4 a.m. when I received a phone call from my dad.

"Hello?" I answered still half asleep. I had worked long hours and then went out to dinner with Tyson. I also went to bed late and had to wake up early 'cause I had a morning shift.

"Rosie?" my dad said.

By the tone of his voice, I realised something was wrong so I sat up in my bed now fully awake.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"The rose garden, it's... Someone set it on fire!"

"What? Are you okay? Is mom okay?" I asked worried.

"We are. We already called the fire service but they are not here yet."

"Please tell me you're away from the fire."

"Yeah, me and your mom got out of the house as soon as we could."

It still felt weird that everything that happened between them they still tried to make it work. No matter how bad my relationship with my mom was, I was glad my dad was there now.

"Is Tyson with you?" my dad asked.

"No, why?" I asked curious.

"Because when we got out of the house it looked like him leaving our neighbourhood."

"You don't mean.." I couldn't even finish my sentence. There was no way he was responsible. I saw him just a few hours ago. We were good, at least that's what I thought.

"I don't know, Rosie. I know you love him and he seems like a nice man."

"I don't think he did it. There's no way. I saw him a couple of hours ago."

"I understand, Rosie," said my dad and I could hear sirens coming closer to him.

"I'll call him now, I will find out if he did it or not."

"Be careful."

"I will. And you too, Dad."

After I hung up I called Tyson. It rang but there was no answer.

There was no way he did it, right? What would be the motive behind that? He knew how much the rose garden meant to me and my dad. I wanted to believe that he wouldn't do anything this cruel.

After I called another time and he didn't pick up I got dressed and ready to go over to his place.

I quickly put on my sneakers, grabbed my jacket and keys and left.

I got in the car and started the engine. I couldn't focus on the road because I was lost in thoughts. I didn't want to believe the same man who spoils me with gifts and makes me the happiest I've ever been could do something so cruel. It was bad enough that he would leave soon for God knows how long but to do this? No. I just had to talk to him. To know the truth.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't see the car coming my way from the left side. All I remember it crashed into my car with such force that my car started rolling sideways. And then everything went black.
