A month passed without much happening. This time everyone was meeting at Sarah's house.

"Hey, Daniel!" Sarah said.

"Hey Sarah, Tom," Daniel said sitting down.

"Daniel!" Tom yelled.

"Has there been any news about Granny Hearthop?" Daniel asked.

"No. Julia?"

"Nothing."

"Don't worry about that guys," Mia said as she entered the room.

"Looks like we're all here!" Tom said.

"Okay guys it's time to turn on the movie," Sarah said as she brought in popcorn.

"What movie are we watching?" Mia asked

"Parry Potter and the Philosopher Rock."

"That's a good one," Daniel said.

When they left Sarah's house Daniel said goodbye and took off running home.

"Bye guys! My dad should be home around now so I have to go!" Daniel said.

"Bye, Daniel!" Tom, Sarah, and Mia said simultaneously

"His father isn't home much is he?" Sarah said.

"No, but Daniel got used to that. Besides, to him, his father is cool. I mean his father does help Odnetnin," Tom said.

"I never knew his father wasn't around much," Mia said watching Daniel runoff.

"Well, yeah. He doesn't bring his father up much no matter how cool he is."

When Daniel got home his father was inside waiting for him.

"Dad!" Daniel said.

"Daniel! There you are! So where were you?" His father asked.

"I was at Sarah's watching Parry Potter and the Philosophers rock," Daniel responded.

"I see. That is one of my favorites. I heard you made a new friend. What was her name again? Ah yes Mia," His father said.

"She's just a friend like Sarah."

"I know I know. Anyways you said you wanted to see if we could fix the one app right?"

"Yes, it isn't loading in fast enough."

"Well then! Let's get to the lab!" His dad said dramatically.

Downstairs in the basement, Daniel and his dad were working on programming the app when a portal suddenly appeared. A black and red portal opened and out of the portal an arm with a dark red glove and a dark red sleeve and grabbed his dad pulling him in.

"Dad! No!"

"Daniel? What's going on down there?" His mother asked.

"I don't know Mom but we should run!" Daniel said as he ran up the steps grabbed his little sister and dragged her out the door. "Mom! Get out here and run!"

"What's going on Daniel?" Abigail asked.

"Abi, you have to run, something's wrong with Dad," Daniel said as his mother came out the door.

"Abigail! Where are you going?" His mother asked as she ran after Abigail. Then the house next door blew up.

"Crud," Daniel said, shutting the programming page on his phone off and calling Mia.

"Hey, Daniel."

"Mia! Get over here as Luna now! Something happened to my father."

"I'll be right there."

"Please, hurry," Daniel mumbled to himself as he tried to warn everyone in the area to run.

"You fools cannot escape this game!" Daniel's father yelled as he walked out of the wreckage of the next-door neighbors' house.

"Father! Stop! This isn't like you!"

"How would you know? You're that useless child who can't do anything by himself that I should have left behind years ago. You haven't been able to achieve anything but watching the death of Issac and sleeping in!" His father harshly said.

"You're... you're right. I am useless and I haven't been able to do anything but you. You of all people have no room! You were never there when I needed you most! It was rare you made it home for my birthday and you're gone so much that Abi barely even knows of your existence! In fact, sometimes I wonder if you even remember us at all! You don't even know what I like! I'm your son and you don't know what I like! All I ever got from you that I wanted was an app that we made together. You are a horrible person! Cool? Yes. But horrible," Daniel said as tears ran down his face.

"I must tell you to... end this attack?" Luna said as she finally arrived.

"Why should I care about what a brat like you thinks of me? I hope you guys are ready to game on," he said looking down at Daniel and creating video game characters.

"What?! I want to create video game characters in real life!"

"Luna! Maybe you should not do whatever you're doing and help save everyone?" Daniel suggested as he hid.

"I've got this!" She said as she charged into the crowd of video game characters. "Hey, Zink. Oh hey look it's Mamamia," She said as she started to take them down.

"How is this possible?!"

"I play a lot of video games," She said as she punched him in the gut.

"You won't beat me that easily!" He yelled, summoning a giant dragon and hopping on top of it.

"Crud. Luna be quick about this! It could destroy the whole city!"

"I noticed now get out of here before you die!" She yelled as she went into its shadow and appeared in Daniel's father's shadow.

"What do you think you're doing? This dragon is about to destroy your beloved city?"

"All gamers know that the real boss is the boss within the boss. In this case, if I take you down everything else goes down with you," she said, kicking him off the dragon and then going safely back down.

"I'm sorry about your father but he might be in the hospital after a fall like that."

"Thank you, Luna. You did the best you could," he said in response.

"I must be going now and thank you for cooperating with this boy as he tried to save your life," Luna said as she ran off.

A few minutes later the mysterious man asked his Spybot to play him the video of Luna fighting Daniel's empowered father. The man learned nothing from it except that Luna was powerful. A few weeks later Daniel's father returned home.

"Father! Are you okay? What happened? Do you remember what happened?" Daniel bombarded his father with questions.

"All I can remember is that one moment I was in the basement then I was outside and there was another me and then I was in the hospital," His father responded.

"That's okay. I'm just glad you're safe."

"And that's everything that I know, do you have all of it? And make sure you have these points: there is someone named Death, people are getting powers mysteriously, and that they have no memory of it afterward. Do you have it?" Eclipse asked.

"What!?" Spark said.

"I just explained this to you! You have to remember it this time. People are getting powers mysteriously, we have a new enemy known as Death, and the people who get the powers have no memory afterward. Do you at least have that?"

"Yes, I have it now. You know I am stronger than you by a long shot."

"Where is this coming from? Besides, you saw what happened with Fingerguns. I think that we can beat you."

"Good luck you two," Spark said, walking off.

"Goodbye, Spark," Eclipse said as he walked away.

"Goodbye, you two dummies!" Luna said as she ran off.
